n addition to the regular annual Christmastime survey, there also was a special one-off mix CD that I had compiled in summer 2008. All songs on it were written and/ or produced by Dallas Austin. He had by then produced countless pop masterpieces for female vocalists. The cover star was one of his clients, Sharleen Spiteri of the band Texas.
