Chemical Biology + Business Administration B.S.

List of Required Courses

Students must also complete the 7-course breadth requirement from the Haas School of Business, as well as the Reading and Composition requirement (R1A and R1B) in order to apply for admission into the Haas School of Business.

Electives

Students must complete 1 Chemistry elective course, 12 units (~3-4 classes) of Allied Subject electives, and 8-9 units (~ 3 classes) of Upper Division UGBA (Undergraduate Business Administration) electives.

Allied Subjects

Allied Subjects are upper division elective courses offered by the chemistry department or other departments that are strongly related to chemistry. Students need to complete a total of 12 units of Elective + Allied Subjects courses, equating to 3-4 classes. Students who perform research for units (through CHEM H194 or CHEM 196) can have up to 4 research units count towards this total. How to Declare

Students should declare Chemical Biology in the College of Chemistry as soon as possible. Then, once the required courses for admission into the Haas School of Business have been completed, students will apply to the Haas School of Business the spring semester prior to their anticipated start in the school.
