Notes: In attendance are Matt, one-time Mudhoney producer Kurt Bloch (DJ'ing), current-time producer Johnny Sangster, and Garrett Shavlik of Mudhoney friends The Fluid (and the short-lived Dan side project GBD). Also in attendance is Johnny Sangter's brother Jim, who's covering on bass for this one-off (two-off after the next show is announced) gig. Guy moved to Australia and it didn't make sense for him to travel all the way here for one show (two). Then, instead of bass, Matt initially covers on drums. Someone producing the show gets on the mic to introduce the band, then Matt comes out and plays drums while the guys get their instruments ready to rock. The temporary venue (set right on Puget Sound) is set up for a much larger crowd (like the next night's country show), so there's this two-tiered GA system, with the dividing line FAR from the stage. How that ends up tonight is, there's a group of people right up front, then another group of people 30 yards back. After 'Touch Me I'm Sick,' Mark points it out and jokes that it was his idea. They take such a long break during 'In N Out of Grace' that Steve takes a photo of the sunset over Puget Sound, and then a similar photo of Mark rocking out with the sunset in the background. When Mark gets back to the mic and Dan is still drumming, he tells the crowd, "The longer we play, the more we get paid, so this could go on for a while."7/28/24 Slim's Last Chance Saloon. Notes: This show is a benefit for band friend Duane Bodenhemier of the Derelicts. The show is announced well in advance, and Mudhoney isn't announced as playing until the morning after their previous show in Everett, at which point this show sells out immediately. In attendance are Matt, Bruce Fairweather, and one-time Mudhoney producer Kurt Bloch (DJ'ing). Jim is on bass again. Early on Mark shares, "I hate benefits. Something bad happened." They have a few technical problems. People can't figure out why Jim's bass keeps going out, until someone notices that the woman at the front of the stage keeps rocking out by accidentally unplugging a necessary power strip. Later, during 'Souvenir of My Trip' all the mics go out - the problem is easy to identify because it has to be at a point of travel for all the mics, but it takes a few minutes to actually fix. Steve leaves the stage and takes a couple selfies with fans. They restart the song from the top and off they go again.
