Notes: The crowd is both appreciative and mellow. Except for two obnoxious guys shouting throughout, with Mark eventually goofing on them. After 'Drivin,' one of them shouts "I love you guys" in a Cookie Monster voice, and Mark says it back, with a superior Cookie Monster impression (likely only one of the two is a professional vocalist). Steve chimes in with, "That was weird," and Mark replies, "I don't know what happened there." On the screen behind them is displayed the record that each song being performed is from. Before 'Sweet Young Thing,' Guy asks himself "What's the next one here?" And Mark says to the crowd (referring to the screen), "And as you can see, now we're going to play an old one." Before 'Flush the Fascists,' Mark realizes they'd left 'F.D.K.' off the setlist as the song to follow, and tries to coordinate with everyone. With all the noise, it's a tough job, and there's confusion. Gabe has already started 'Flush,' but Steve tells him they're not playing it, so he leaves the stage. And Mark hasn't made his way over to Guy yet, so he's as confused as anyone: "What are we playing?" We're not doing Flush? What'd he say we're doing?" Mark realizes they're now missing Gabe: "Gabe! Gabe! Gabe!" while Steve says, "Oh, I thought we were gonna do [F.D.K.] right now." Mark: "Gabe, we need you. We desperately need you." They get back on track, play both songs, and Mark cues up the next album cover to be displayed with, "After this one should be My Brother the Cow." They close the night with Mark telling the crowd, "Well, thank you all very very much. Thank you. Thanks again to Hooveriii. Ellie, fantastic job with the lights. Notes: This is an all-ages show after yesterday's 21+ show, and the crowd is correspondingly more lively, even though it's a Sunnday night. Steve breaks a string early in 'Judgment Rage...' and it's overall sloppy, but the crowd still gives a big cheer, to which Mark says, "Thanks?" A couple guys from Hooveriii do gentle stage dives during 'Touch Me I'm Sick,' leading a couple guys from the crowd to do un-gentle ones. Mark comments on the difference afterward, saying to let the people who don't know what they're doing and hurting others break their own neck. All of Hooveriii comes out during 'I'm Now' to join in on Mark's hand claps. After '21st Century Pharisees,' Mark says, "I'd like to thank [my alma mater] Bellevue Christian High School for that ... ... they made me a monster." As they leave the stage after the main set, Mark can't say enough good things about Hooveriii (e.g., "It's been a pleasure watching them kick ass every night for 5.5 weeks."), and caps it off with, "Also, thank you to us!" Coming back for the encore, Mark jokes about the lively crowd: "The problem with all-ages shows is too much enthusiasm." To cap off the night and the tour, Mark has Hooveriii come out for a group bow, "Like I saw at the end of a Bruce Springsteen concert ... .... but I've never been to one." Kim Thayil (Soundgarden) is here again tongiht, as is Sean Kinney (Alice in Chains), and Charles Peterson, who's taking photos.
