so i woke to the sound of absolute pouring rain. u can guess what kind of shocker that was to me. i mean, yesterday was 80 degrees with clear skies and now it's completely overcast with little visibility. crazy... anyway, so i had a light breakfast and drove back to san marino to teach two classes of taekwondo. taught some kids. wasn't that much fun. but not bad. so, i got there right at 9:10 or so when class is supposed to start. but apparently the teacher who usually is in on saturdays opens 15 mins early so some students were waiting. oh well. live and learn. so after teaching classes, i locked up and drove to hip hop class. on the way there, there was an accident close to the offramp i needed to take. so on the offramp just before mine, some lady drove up it (it's elevated) so she could see the accident then stopped to rubberneck. the she got hit from behind. i personally think it's that woman's fault for stopping on the offramp, but depending on the law, it probably wont' end up that way. anyway, so i had a good day at hip hop class. some parts were taken from other routines so it was kind of easy. but still a lot of fun. so i went weight lifting. one of the girls who was there, she's kinda fobbish. so she always stays behind me cuz she sometimes comes late so she doesnt' know the whole routine. later while i was weight lifting, i noticed she was doing some martial arts on some of the machines. kind of odd. one of the trainers saw her and told her to stop cuz she might hurt herself. she was using the weight cables and stuff. so some guy with no legs in a wheelchair started helping her lift weight and stuff. i just thought "asian fetish" and left. took a nice shower only to come out later to more pouring rain. hehe. i drove home. slow driving cuz of the rain. at home, had lunch and here i am now. just relaxing. i might go get a boba later, but the weather really really sux. blah. i'll probably write more later. more on my mind.

Ah...let's start at the beginning of the day, i guess. i woke up and went to Bio class. man, the prof is this older guy but he bores the hell outta me. i mean, he knows his stuff and he's dealing with people who've had no biology experience before but still. anyway, we had a test today after some lecture. i finished that test in like 10 minutes. not bad. double checked too. after i turned it in, i went to the lab room. labs are weird. they set up the labs for about a week or two and you go in when you have time to do the labs. then you take a quiz and that's it. so i didn't go last week so i went today. i finished last weeks lab and took the quiz. so as i was taking teh quiz, some girl sat next to me and started looking right over at my quiz sheet and scantron. i looked at her funny. she asked if i had the quiz for lab 5 (which i did) but then she said "oh you have a different version. damn." stupid bitch wanted to cheat off of me. riiiiight. like i would have let her. dumb biyatch. after i finished, i just got up and left. she tried to ask me about stuff on her quiz. i just went to a different work station like i didn't hear her. so then i started to work on teh lab for the current week. it was actually kind of long. so i did all teh activities except one. the other one will involve me sitting down and classifying animals for a while so i didn't want to do it. after i stamped out, i drove home as usual. got home, and ate some nice tuna sandwiches. slept for a bit. man, i was a lot more tired than i thought. after i woke up i was just wasting time. but i called mwave.com to see if i could pick up my computer. so it's ready. i'll pick it up tomorrow. so i also went to tkd. taught two classes and got all sweaty and nasty. man, my arm guards STINK!! i gotta wash them soon. hehe. anyway, that was the rundown for today.
so i'm still bugged by that bitch who thought she could cheat off of me. like she acted like it was nothing. and also, as i was doing my lab, people kept coming up to me with questions about the friggin' lab. like i was some lab helper. i'm in the same damn position. some people just aren't willing to look up the answers. now here's the thing. the lab manual has some fairly detailed procedures. for example, today, we were supposed to take epitheilial cells from our cheek and mount it. but they made those slides FOR us so it saves us time. also, there's sheets with all the freakin' info that we'd need to fill out the lab report. it's not that hard to go to the center table, pick up the fucking sheet, and copy down what's written. stupid ass people. anyway, that's my gripe.
let's see. the weather's been really really REALLY nice lately. Very Warm. feels like real southern california weather. i've been enjoying the heat. i know it sounds stupid to talk about the weather, but i like it when i sweat. so heat is good. we'll see how it keeps up. i heard it's supposed to rain tomorrow...sux0rz. oh well. at least it was nice while it lasted.
so my master said he'd pay me if i decided to help him teach classes. but i just got my job at Stepping Stones so i dunno how it's going to work out. so we lost one of our instructors. some major drama that happened. so that means we're a little short staffed. well, i'm going to go teach two classes tomorrow morning. more sparring. then i'll go to hip hop class. then i'll go pick up the computer. fun stuff.
so it's Lent season which means, no meat on fridays. i miss meat. the day i can't eat meat, i start craving it more. how sad...hehehe
i guess i shouldn't talk about the drama publically. but basically someone did something he really shouldn't have done. so now a big mess is here. *sigh* and i knew both parties affected for a while. kinda sad to see stuff like this. sorry to be so vague, but to protect the interests of others, i'll let u guess. anyway, that's it for now. haven't had a long entry in a while. i'll think more later, i guess.

Ah. today was a good day. so i woke up as usual. chem was normal. wasnt' good, wasn't bad. but at least we got our lab done adn turned in. after chem, i went home and ate a sandwich and some of my shepard's pie i brought back. good food. i didnt' sleep so instead i read and chatted a bit. i then went to go tutor. i found out that most of the stuff that she and i went over wasnt' on the test. but at least she said that she did well on teh essay which was all about photosynthesis. after i tutored, i drove straight to the gym. when i got there, my shoulder wasn't hurting so i decided to go do some bench press. felt good to bench press again. i also had someone spot me for the heavier weights. so i did a lot of sets. biceps, i shocked pretty well. good overall workout. then had hip hop class. today was fun again, as usual. but later, he kept pushing me up to the front. i felt kinda awkward, cuz i know i'm not as good as a lot of hte people there. but he was telling me to be a man. so i stayed up there. was fun. kinda nice to be center of attention again. he's really cool. i'm glad he's there and i'm glad to be taking the class. so after the class, i showered and drove home. on the way home, i got a voicemail from hilary from Stepping Stones asking about my schedule. so far, i'm slotted already to tutor someone for chemistry. WOOHOO!! my first client. i'm so stoked. it's been a really good day. now i hope it transfers tomorrow when i take my test. i'd normally write more, but i should be sleeping. hehe. nitey.

i didn't write yesterday. didn't do much from the norm actually. just went to school, got out a little early. then came home, chilled, then had hip hop class later on. that's always fun. it was different cuz there was no saturday class so the routine wasn't really finalized. but it was still cool. afterwards, i lifted a little more. i haven't been able to lift much lately cuz my left shoulder. oh wells.
today i didn't do much either. but the good news is that i got a call from Stepping Stones Learning Center and they want to offer me a job. WOOHOO!! so i'm employed. i'm gonna go in on monday for schedule set up and everything. i can't wait. anyway, i had dinner with my friend Jane today. talked about a lot of stuff. we went to Cheesecake factory. a bit of a wait, but since it was just the two of us, it wasn't too long. i had shepard's pie. jane had a spicy chicken sandwich. so much food. it took them a long time to bring our food though. so i drove her home. and now i'm here blogging. i have to finish my taxes, write letters, send stuff out, pick up the computer. so much stuff. hehe. it'll be nice to get my refund back tho. well, i'll write more when i have more time. g'nite. i have a bio test on friday so i should be studying for it. hehe.

wow...i did a whole lot of nothign today. i woke up kind of late. actually i woke up around 10 and i think that surprised my mom. she took my grandmother home. it felt so late, but it was only 10:30 or so. maybe that's late, but sometimes i sleep till noon. hehe. anyway, i just ate breakfast and lunch, chatted a bit, watched Enemy of the State on cable, and read a little chemistry. then i went to tkd. that was ok. didn't do much there either. didn't sweat at all. oh well. so very nondescript today. i don't mind all that much tho because then no drama, no pressures, no bad things. well, tomorrow should be a full day. studying at least. then hip hop class. hehehe. i really am looking forward to hip hop class. new routine. very kewl!!

man, what a long day. woke up to the sound of my next door neighbors' dogs barking which means a few differnt things. either we have guests or someone is just walking by. since the family was coming over, i suspected that was the situation. it turns out it was the make up/hair stylist ladies. so they came over first. soon after my cousins and aunt came. they took my chair and my brother's chair into my parents bathroom. it sure looked like a salon the way things were set up. hehe. anyway, while they were all getting dolled up, i went to the gym for about an hour and a half. at the gym, tho, even before i stepped inside, my left shoulder started hurting. damn, it was feeling fine yesterday too. maybe it's psychosomatic or something or unconsciously, my body doesn't want me to work out. blah. anyway, i did my best and showered and came home. i needed that. so there was a lot of running around and stuff. lunch was some korean noodles. good noodles. after lunch, i started getting ready. my dad insisted that i shave. i shaved yesterday and i dont' grow facial hair that fast. so when i did shave, i ended up cutting myself a few times. ugh. so i got dressed and everyone else was still running around. eventually (after lots of frantic women running around getting shoes, veils, other wedding stuff, etc.) we got into our cars and drove off to Universal City to the Sheraton to have the wedding. we unloaded and i got to meet the family of the husband-to-be. they seemed kind of nice. felt awkward just because everyone else had met them, but i hadn't. so we went to the room to unload a LOT of stuff. my cousin, Han, and I started to get things set up. so we went to the top where they hold their events. it was called the Roof Garden. Nice flat place. GREAT VIEW!! windows on 3 sides so you could see a lot of the valley. you could see into burbank which was cool. anyway, there was an event that was winding down but they should haven finished. so they delayed us a bit. the dj also went to the wrong fucking hotel. dumbass. Han and I ended up going back and forth between the hotel room and the Roof Garden getting thigns ready and checkign up on the set up. i could tell that my cousin (the bride) was getting agitated with some of hte development. i talked to her a bit. tried to keep her calm. besides, it's supposed to be the happiest day of her life. i didn't want her to worry. so eventually things started getting set up. Han and I ended up manning the reception desk. we checked off names and would receive the envelopes of money. they didn't have a gift registry so i think they just got money donations. after the guests came (around 5pm), teh ceremony started. that took about 45 mins. then everyone went downstairs for a mingling. while the guests did that, we took family pictures that were supposed to be earlier in the day. after the pics, i stayed at the roof garden to make sure any stragglers knew where to go. also, my grandma didn't want to go downstairs so i waited with her. people started coming up again and i saw teh couple. i told them that the tables were supposed to be set up and they would have a grand entrance followed by a dance. i think the groom coudl tell that there was some tension between us. but i decided to help them both out. i mean, more for my cousin, obviously, but he's goign to be family. better to keep it nice so instead, i just helped out. he expressed his gratitude. i'm glad we got past it. i think he knows how i feel even tho we never really said it. so the guests came in and sat down. i was giving them the seating positions. i called the couple to come up for their entrance. they look so nice together. i do have to admit that. anyway, during the dance, followed by the champagne toast, i started cleaning up the reception table. i didn't want anything to get stolen. so i came back to the table for dinner. man, my other cousin was crying. she looked so cute. hehe. well, we ate. soup, bread, and sirloin and sea bass. the sirloin was small. but i was full. i drank a LOT of wine. something like 5 glasses. it was a cabernet. not that good. can't complain. we went over the guest number so they took the bar away. too bad. good selection from the looks of it. then again, i doubt many people would have had drinks. after dinner, the couple, Han, and I went down to the room again to change into the traditional Korean suits for the Korean PaeBaek ceremony. this is where the couple bows and shares some wine with the groom's parents. also they had to catch dates thrown by the groom's parents. they had to catch it with a long white cloth. by that point, a lot of people had already left. they looked great tho. taht was the last event of the night. we started cleaning up the last of our stuff at that point. we decided which flowers to take, glasses, etc. i saved the champagne glasses for them. hehe. we cleaned up and my parents, grandma and i left. everyone else was going to stay at the hotel for the night. i drove home and that was about it. it was a fun day.
i haven't seen my cousin beam like that before. she looked just so happy to be getting married to him. i hope he treats her right. i know she'll treat him fine. To Dalnim Kang and Edward Yoon. I wish you joy and happiness till the end of your days together. may every day be better than the one before.
i REALLY wish i had a digicam now. i wanted some pics so badly. well, hopefully i can put some up when the professional pictures come in.
