Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alumnae Association


Mission

The mission of the Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alumnae Association is to establish and sustain a supportive, professional, and social network to all graduated sisters of the sorority.


Purpose

The Alumnae Association is a national organization formed to meet the needs of all sisters who wish to strengthen their lifetime commitment.

 

Goals

  • Strengthen sisterly bonds
  • Promote activeness in the sorority
  • Encourage and support professional and post graduate studies
  • Provide a social network for Alumnae
  • Maintain and uphold the standards of Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Alumnae

Eligibility

All sisters of Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. that have participated in a graduation ceremony are eligible for membership in the region they currently reside.

Membership

To be considered a member of the Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc Alumnae Association a sister must pay annual dues to her region.

Current regions

The Northern California Alumnae Association (NCAA) will encompass the California-Oregon Border through the city limits of Fresno.

The Southern California Alumnae Association (SCAA) will encompass the area beyond the city limits of Fresno to the California-Mexican Border.

Scholarship

Each region of the Alumnae Association is responsible for awarding at least one $250 scholarship to an active sister attending a university in the region.  The scholarship is awarded at our annual National Leadership Conference Banquet.
