Schedule Your Graduate Portrait

Graduating seniors can take their graduate portraits to be put into the Yearbook. All graduate portrait purchases and transactions go through our partner, Lauren Studios.

However, due to COVID-19, if you are unable to access a Lauren Studios location nearby, please email us.

The portrait packages themselves are available for purchase through Lauren Studios. While Blue & Gold Yearbook helps mediate the photo-taking process, we have no jurisdiction over graduate portrait appointments, proofs, or photo package prices. Any questions regarding such matters should be directed to Lauren Studios.

How To Sign Up

If you are a graduating senior, Lauren Studios should send you an email at some point throughout the academic year with instructions on how to sign up for graduater portraits. You are able to log in or create an account with Lauren Studios. Log in with “21CAL-[SID]”, [SID] being your Cal student ID.
If you have not received this email or would like to sign up immediately, please email us for instructions.

When and Where To Take Your Portraits

Lauren Studios currently has a photography location at the Hotel Durant/Graduate Berkeley in Berkeley. Contact Lauren Studios for more information.
Portrait sessions are currently available for the entire month of October 2020.

After Your Portrait

In 2-3 weeks, Lauren Studios should send you an email containing image files of the portraits you took. You’ll be asked to select one to be featured in the Yearbook.
If you don’t like the pictures taken of you, you can sign up for retakes for free. Simply sign up for another session the way you did previously.
