Translator's Notes :
[*] The lyrics in this song have a very strange rhyme/rhythm pattern that's not normally seen in Japanese songs. I've tried to make the English translation mimic the rhyming/rhythm of the original Japanese lyrics; as a result, though, in some cases the translation had to be changed/fudged a bit. I'll provide more literal translations in the notes below.
[1] This translation for this stanza was altered to make, as in the original, the 1st, 3rd, and 4th lines rhyme; and to make a triple rhyme in the 2nd line. An alternate translation:
'No matter how forcefully you've lived your life
Sometimes all you want is a place where you can lean your head and sleep,
Right now, I am a coward
Simply waiting for someone to come through the door to this room.'
[2] This stanza was made to have the 1st, 2nd, and 4th lines rhyme, as in the original. An alternate translation:
'Taking my stopped watch/clock and winding it backwards,
I want to start over from the right moment and meet you again,
If anyone can feel like this,
I want to find the door to his/her room, but once more...'
