Spring 2023 Auditions

Our auditions are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 1/24 and Sunday 1/29 2023 in the basement of Cesar Chavez Student Center, but we are happy to hear prospective singers on a rolling basis. We are interested in ALL voice parts, but male voices are particularly welcome this Spring. Please email us and we will provide you with details. Also be so kind as to fill this interest form.

All who are interested are encouraged to audition! In general, P5 auditions emphasize sight-reading, blending, pitch, and ability to hold one's part through vocal exercises and individual and group sight-reading tasks. Auditionees are also asked to prepare a short solo, preferably in the classical style (though anything you have prepared and feel confident singing is okay), for the audition. We may have a callback audition to hear more on blend and part-holding.
