Ascii-yahu, Son of Bit-el: Computerizing an Archaeological Data Base

This article discusses the uses to which scholars working in the humanities have put personal computers.
The author then describes Filepro 16+, an obscure, but powerful data base program, which could have wide
applicability to others working in the humanities. After this overview an example, with illustrations, of
the kind of output the program can generate, is given.
