Two Technical Aspects of Cuneiform Writing

In this paper I will address two technical aspects of cuneiform writing: the orientation of the script and the configuration of the stylus. The latter is related to an issue which will not be dealt with here; that is, the reasons for the shift in the orientation of cuneiform signs.
