In each workshop you'll be able to meet professionals and current
students in each health field that will be sharing their experiences on
how and why they chose their given health career. You'll be provided with
valuable information on how to get into professional school pertaining to
each health career/profession, with a Q & A session at that end of each
workshop.
The choices for the workshops are the following:
10:25-11:10am: Breakout #1
- Professional School Admissions for both H.S. and college
- UCSF PRIME, UCSF Pharmacy, UCB Optometry, KAPLAN MCAT and GRE
- College admissions for H.S. students
- Cal admissions representative for H.S. students
- Life as a Pre-health Student for H.S. Students
- (2 people each from CHE BSHA and PAHC)
- Diabetes Workshop
- Community health development in underserved communities
- Potentially: David from PRIME-U.S.
- Biomedical Sciences Research Workshop: How science is contributing to healthcare today
- Current graduate students in Ph.D research
1:30-2:15pm: Breakout #2
