Residing in Mirador Mansion
Tuesday June 1st, 1999 to Wednesday June 2nd, 1999
Because I could no longer stay at the hostel, I stayed at Mirador Mansion for 2 nights.
I originally thought about staying at Chungking Mansion, but I was told that Mirador was
better. The structure is quite different from a normal building. The interior is completely
hollow. Nevertheless, Mirador is quite messy, and somewhat scary. I must thank Johnny for
helping me negotiate, lowering the price from $150 to $120 HKD. Danny from Hostel II also
came to visit me here in Mirador Mansion. The room was very very narrow, with the bed
occupying 50% of the space. But I actually like this setup because all I want is a place
to sleep. I don't need any extra space. If only these guest house exists all over the world...
