Primary School Food Stand
Friday, January 29th, 1999

I was a student helper, participating a "Powerful Learning Workshop" at Choi Wan St Joseph's Primary School. Several other exchange students also helped out; they were all second semester students. They are Micah, Stanislas, and Josh. There was one more helper who used to work as an engineer at the Hong Kong Airport. After the primary 2 students were thought several phrases such as "May I have (food name)?", "Do you like (food name)?", and "I like (food name)." The foods sold were sausages, fish balls, french fries, orange soda, coke, cheese sandwich, ham sandwich, and chicken wing. They were all prepared by some parents. All we had to do was serve them the food and help them order. They had $7 worth of fake Hong Kong coins to spend on the food - however once, one kid accidently gave a real dollar!
