Chang Ki the Birthday Boy

Today actually is no one's birthday. Well, Mayuko's was yesterday and Chang Ki's would be tomorrow. However the celebration would go past midnight. We didn't really prepare that much food as it would be kind of late. Shinichi and Toshi made some fruit salad inside two watermelons, I made some tong shui and Chang Ki of course, made his infamous Changurt - his combination of yogurt and other strange things. We started around 11 o'clock and wished Mayuko a happy birthday. As midnight struck, Eri and Chihiro brought out as cake as we sang happy birthday to Chang Ki. Chang Ki kind of looked surprised but I'm sure he was faking it. He's smart enough to know that something like this would happen. However he would never expect what would happen in a few minutes.

Chang Ki's Surprise

Shortly after Chang Ki's surprise, I took the remains of the cake and put more things on his face. He took off after me but he couldn't catch me. When I returned Toshi smeared the cake against my face. Ah, now he involved himself. I took up the cake paper and got him back. We involved Julia as Toshi had me take a picture of the moment he got her. By now there was no more cake remains. Julia then took the nearest food, durians! We had actually bought it because some people wanted to try this stinky fruit out. In a few moments there was an all out durian fight and Junichi and Chang Ki also became involved. Takuya and Yoshi participated a bit, Shinichi ran away from it all, and Udachi refused to be involved. The fruit salads were also used in the fight...ugghh...the watermelon pieces... By the time it was all over, everything was a mess....we all stank and the floor was really dirty. Upon returning the first thing I did was to take a shower


After our comparably small cake fight, we had cream over our faces.

After the fight, we were just posing for photos in Mong Man Wai. Toshi had to take off shirt because it was completely soaked. My shirt reaked of durian. Junichi was drenched in watermelon fluids.
