| My brother & I went to visit the aircraft carrier stationed at Alameda near Oakland. It was used during World War II and was fortunate in not having suffered any major damage. Eventually it was decommisioned and then later converted into a museum. Just by walking around the corridors, one can definately feel that this is a remnant of the past. |
