Greetings!

My name is Valentin Lulu Wolof. I am Yoruba-British-American from Chad. I am a recent graduate in Film Studies and Computer Science. I am interested in the intersection of technology and film. I find the themes of transhumanism, transracialism, and decentralization essential for the twenty-first century. Afro-Futurism and Techno-Orientalism are my vibes.

The most difficult thing to direct has been the story of my own life. Therefore, we shall treat it as performance art. We all wear many masks, but life is a stage! My mentor and muse (the one who inspired me to set up this site now works on classified projects) told me something along the lines of: “The most difficult thing to change is the minds of others. The greatest change you can do is be an inspiration in a world of copycats!”

My greatest artistic inspirations have been:

  • Eyes Wide Shut [1999]
  • Annie Hall [1977]
  • Pierrot le Fou [1966]
  • Chungking Express [1994]
  • Casablanca [1942]
  • Elfenlied
  • Neon Genesis Evangelion
  • Vampire Hunter D [1985]
  • Ghost in the Shell [1995]
  • Pink Flamingos [1972]
  • The Girlfriend Experience [2009]
  • Metropolitan [1922]
  • Saved from the Titanic [1912]
  • The Mechanics of Desire [1994]
