itsu kara ka omotte'ta tokidoki kidzuite'ta
hoka no hito wo wakaru koto tte kitto muzukashii ne

I've been thinking about it since long ago
I've noticed it from time to time
That understanding other people is a very hard thing to do.
When exactly do you obtain the things you really want?
It seems that, once in a while,
You'll lose sight of the dreams you've chosen

dareka ni miseru egao mo   kimi dake ga mita namida mo
kitto onaji jibun de
itsuwari nai sugao datte kono saki
dore dake kimi wa minuku darou
The smiles you show to others
And the tears that only you see
Are, without a doubt, both a part of you,
With your pure honesty,
You'll be able to see through everything from here on out.

Lookin' for my place
In the middle of this unending journey,
Disappearing and then reappearing, again and again,
Is this paradox that I hold forever in my arms.
Continuing to search day and night,
I cry out until sound no longer comes out,
If it's possible, then
I want to feel everything together with you.
But at the same time, I want to find the answer
Depending, as I always have, on only myself.
Such is the paradox I hold in my arms.

nagarete'ku toki no naka da kedo kawaranai [1]
nanika ni muchuu ni nareru shunkan wa itsumo mamotte'tai
There's something that remains unchanged,
Though it lies within this flowing river of time, [1]
I've fallen into a trance because of it,
And I want to protect this moment forever.

taisetsu na mono subete ni junjo wa tsukerarenakute
ushinaitaku nai kara
yume ni naku ai ja nai kitto sore dake wa
futari no shinjitsu
I can't neatly prioritize the things I value,
And I don't want to lose them,
That which is crying in my dreams is not love,
That alone is our reality.

ashita wo egakeru koto kinou ni yorisou koto
kyou no kabe koeru tame ni dochira mo kakasenai

All the while holding this paradox.
Day & night like to constantly change,
But I cry without stop,
Only you notice my invisible struggles,
But my urge to hide my weaknesses
Always seems to follow.
