About SEEDS

The core SEEDS program components offer hands-on, engaging experiences with ecology that exhibit the relevance and applications of the science. Each experience also provides opportunities to interact with a diverse group of ecologists and other motivated students to both broaden and deepen students’ understanding of ecology and potential careers.

What we do at Berkeley SEEDS:

  • Faculty and graduate student panels to showcase cutting-edge research and the diversity of ecology
  • Field trips and educational opportunities for Berkeley students to learn more about the field from top experts
  • Volunteer projects to promote ecological principles and sustainability in our community
  • Research and job opportunities, networking, and professional development resources
  • Support and social community of likeminded peers at Berkeley

We are a student group acting independently of the University of California. We take full responsibility for our organization and this website.
