Hi everyone,
Come out to our second service event: Prisoners Literature Project! They are an all-volunteer grassroots group that sends hundreds of free book packages to needy prisoners in the United States every month.
We will be collaborating with Local Committee to help out the organization by reading prisoners’ letters, and choosing and packaging the books that they request. It’s an amazing experience and we would love it if you would sign up to participate!
If you want to catch a ride with us, we will be meeting in front of MLK at the first shift at 1:30 PM and the second shift at 3:30 PM. We will be taking the bus so please remember to BRING YOUR CLIPPER CARD!!
