Policy Review at Berkeley is the official undergraduate journal of the Goldman School of Public Policy. The journal is a “teaching journal,” for which DeCal course facilitators will lecture material on the semester theme and assign various policy-focused writing assignments that will allow students to find where they stand in the policy conversation; design-specialist, activist, analyst, or both? Writing assignments for the DeCal will be synthesized into a final publication at the end of the semester. Over the course of the semester, students will hone their newswriting, interviewing, and policy analysis skills, while also sharing their personal stories.
