Rosie Rios
43rd Treasurer of the United States

Rosie Rios is the CEO of Red River Associates, a real estate consulting firm and is finalizing her term as a Visiting Scholar at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. She was the 43rd Treasurer of the United States and is most recently known for leading the efforts to place a portrait of a woman on the front of U.S. currency for the first time in over a century. Upon her resignation in 2016, she received the Hamilton Award, the highest honor bestowed in the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Rosie was the longest serving Senate-confirmed Treasury official beginning with her time on the Treasury/Federal Reserve Transition Team in November 2008 at the height of the financial crisis.

Rosie’s entire career has focused on real estate finance, economic development and urban revitalization in both the public and private sectors. She remains active in real estate finance and is consulting on several transformational projects in the Bay Area under her “RESCUE” initiative: Real Estate for Socially Conscious Urban Empowerment.

Her personal passion includes EMPOWERMENT 2020, an initiative that facilitates the physical recognition of historical American women.

HILARY DECESARE​

As an award-winning entrepreneur, Executive and CEO Coach, CEO of The ReLaunch Company, as well as Philanthropist in The Bay Area, Hilary DeCesare has made her mark on both the tech world and helping others reach new heights.    DeCesare was selected as Always On’s “Top 25 Women in Tech to Watch” in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and she was honored with the prestigious 2010 DEMOgod Award and the Golden Bridge Woman Founder of the Year Award in 2012.

PAM SCOTT

Pam Scott is the Founder of The Curious Company, a collective of scientists and creative professionals designing solutions that make it easier for people to adopt new, beneficial behaviors. Pam has spent over 30 years working as a strategist, researcher, designer, facilitator, advisor, and board member for corporations and NGOs alike. Pam has a keen eye for insights that inspire innovation and a passion for leading diverse teams to develop radically fresh solutions to sticky challenges. 

LAUREN JOHNSTON

Lauren is the Head of Brand Management at Google and has over a decade of experience as a strategy-led brand thinker and maker. Her perspective has been crafted through working with global business, consumer, and tech brands through agency and in-house brand strategy, development, and company-wide implementation. She holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Duke University. Lauren lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons.

STEPHENIE SHAH​

As Senior Director of State Government Relations, Stephenie is responsible for Diageo’s government relations in twelve states. Stephenie has been in government relations since 1999, starting her career as a contract lobbyist in Sacramento, CA specializing in environmental technologies and working closely with organizations whose missions support the environment and sustainability. 

JUNE WILLIAMS

June A. Williams is a Policy Advisor in the Global Product Policy, Trust and Safety Team at Google. June led U.S. Senator Kamala D. Harris’ San Francisco Office as District Director. Before joining Senator Harris’ Office she practiced civil rights law, prosecuted cases in Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office in Maryland, and clerked for two state-level judges in Maryland and New Jersey. June is a proud Oakland native and remains active in her community by volunteering and fundraising for several non-profit organizations.

RONIT LARONE

A 6-time Emmy Award winner, Larone’s career, which spans nearly 30 years, began as a college intern and staff Production Assistant for ABC Sports. As Vice President of Content & Marketing Integration for the NFL Media Group, Ronit Larone oversees the planning and implementation of League, Marketing and Network Programming promotional integration and content optimization across NFL Media’s multiple platforms. 

VERONIQUE POWELL

Veronique is the Vice President of Operations and Strategy at ThirdLove. Previously, she held various roles focused on inventory management, merchandising and operations across the Gap Inc brand portfolio. Veronique prides herself on leading and scaling high-performing teams that create ground-breaking shopping experiences, solve real-world problems, and foster inclusivity in the fashion industry.

SHIRIN BEHZADI

Shirin Behzadi is CEO of Home Franchise Concepts, which recently celebrated its 26th year as the top-selling family of direct-to-consumer brands in the home-related goods and services space. Under Behzadi’s direction, HFC has grown into one of the largest and most respected franchisors in the country. An entrepreneur herself who migrated to the U.S., Shirin recently received the Entrepreneur of the Year® 2018 Award in the Direct to Consumer category in recognition of her leadership in innovation, financial performance and commitment to her company and community.
