Basics: I'm a 25-year-old singleton working in NYC. I was born in Taiwan, raised in Los Angeles, and then I spent the next four memorable years studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (affectionately known as EECS) at UC Berkeley. After that, I lived and worked in Seattle for two years as a happy and hyper(ventilating) code monkey for Amazon.com, before I decided to pursue something that I had always fantasized about -- teaching. Nowadays, I am a proud NYC Teaching Fellow and a proud teacher of 8th-graders at The Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science in the Bronx! --And I've even managed to bring with me to NYC my horrendous jokes irresistable charm! ;)
On the side, I do random things like dancing and exploring new people, places, foods, and books. I also have various hobbies, drawing and reading and writing and TV-watching included. Oh, and I guess website-designing, even though I'm not very into the graphics-heaviness of modern websites.
I'm thankful everyday for the amazing friends and sister that I have, and for my incredible parents who continue to support me through everything.
Oh, and "Mimis" are plural, because I'm convinced that Mimis are its own (highly randomized) species. >B)
