It’s been more than a month. Some things have happened, such as working on a crowdsourcing project with some Stanford folks. The goal is to analyze the realm of a crowd-based video analysis tool. In other news, i’m also moving forward with the interactive prototype development for Dygest. The first one was a mess, so i need to start over; i have some better ideas this time.
Also, two CHI Work-in-Progress papers were accepted! They’re “AnalyzeThis: Unobstrusive Mental Health Monitoring by Voice” and “CalmMeNow: Exploratory Research and Design of Stress Mitigating Mobile Interventions.” Both papers involve mental health and the realm of preventative health care. I’ll probably post them up on my main site later.
Lastly, I’ve purchased the domain name SCIP.IO (Indian Ocean) since i have plans to start making my own software tools, such as a resume generator/creator. I remember how difficult it was creating my first resume. My service would target local college kids and new grads, and i will provide a clean, crisp resume design. This little project involves lots of python scripts, but very manageable. I want to move on the design #2 soon. Next, i want to build this iphone app 😉 No details on it until further development.
Oh yeah, spammers on wordpress are annoying.
