About me

Hi, I’m Joy.

I care about cities. I am an urban planner, an engineer, and a transportation expert. I am from Paris and I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 3 years.

In 2019, I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Master of City Planning and a  specialization in Transportation Planning and Policy, thanks to the sponsorship of the French-American Fulbright Program. Prior to that, I obtained an M.Sc. in Science and Executive Engineering from MINES ParisTech.

I am passionate about transportation because it is so central to the quality of urban life. At a time when the ways we move around and live in cities are being upended, we need to promote sustainable, inclusive, resilient and innovative cities. I am especially interested in promoting multimodal outcomes, to ensure that urban mobility does not revolve around the use of private vehicles. This means supporting every other transportation mode, from active transportation to higher-occupancy modes, and leveraging the opportunities created by emerging mobility solutions.

I am ready to use my 5 years of transportation planning and international development expertise to continue supporting sustainable transportation systems that work for all.
