Thanks to the Global School for Advance Studies, I won a scholarship to spend 10 days in Taiwan in September 2006 attending lectures on solar cells while working to create an original solar cell research proposal. Scholars from around the world worked together to come up with breakthrough ideas in solar energy. And we got to explore Taiwan too...
