Fallon Burner
Vice President

Fallon Burner is a third-year History major with a concentration in the Atlantic World and would like to acknowledge the Ohlone people on whose land she is able to earn her degree. She is focused on balancing main-stream historical narratives by re-focusing the lens on the perspective of Indigenous people and women, particularly the Huronne-Wendat people of Canada and the tribes which were part of the Powhatan Confederacy in Virginia. Having grown up in Yorktown, Virginia, history has always played a huge role in her life. Her first career was as an actor/singer/dancer, choreographer, and circus artist, and she still likes to dance, act, and sing when she gets a chance! If you attended any History Department events in the last year you’ve probably seen her in her unofficial capacity as undergrad department events maven.

Geraint Hughes
Secretary

Geraint (pronounced Jer-rant) is a third-year History and Global Studies double major. He hopes to go either into International Relations or become a history professor. His favorite time and place to study is the Roman Empire (Ancient Greece being a close second), with a dash of modern geopolitics on the side—although he will voraciously read anything on any time or place. He also particularly loves winning historical strategy games (electronic and tabletop), and generally being a nerd. When not buried in schoolwork, he can be found buried in sci-fi/fantasy novels or looking for good places to eat throughout the Bay.
