Very Basic Stata:

• We'll use data from "Ruggedness: The Blessing of Bad Geography in Africa" by N Nunn and D Puga. Review of Economics and Statistics. 2012; 94(1)20-36.
• Data in Stata (.dta) format. (Right-click and save as to download. Then use the "use" command to load.)
• Data in .csv/.txt format. (Right-click and save as to download. Use the "insheet using" command to load.)
• Nunn & Puga's .do file (From Nunn's webpage)
• A helpful beginner .do file written by Pat Hastings.
• The .do file resulting from the workshop.

• We'll use a subset of data from a water, sanitation, and hygiene project I helped run in Kenya: "Pilot Cluster Randomized Controlled Trials to Evaluate Adoption of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Interventions and Their Combination in Rural Western Kenya" AJTMH 2015.
