During the Fall '00 semester, Chris and I took a class called "Chaos and Fractals". Part of this class was a term paper done in groups of two. For reasons now unknown to us, we chose to write on the subject of wavelets. Our paper is available in its current state in both PDF and postscript format. Enjoy it for what it's worth but be aware that there are some errors. I would appreciate any comments, compliments, and/or criticisms; you may email me at tobin@splorg.org.
If you're looking for more information on wavelets, the open directory project has a good wavelets category. Mathsoft maintains a comprehensive list of wavelet resources, mostly papers (many of which are broken links, unfortunately).
