±Ý¿äÀÏ ¾Æħ: so... sumpthin' i haven't mentioned here (since i really haven't had time to write lately) 's that my cousin wendy (nicknamed "wawa," real name "hwang shin.hui") 's visitin' cali this wk. she arrives 2day w/ her fiancé tim n' a guy friend'f theirs eddie. i'll try to hang out w/ them 2morrow or 'least go to dinner w/ them in sf. this is really bad timing, un4tunately. i absolutely hate how i find out 'bout these things so last min. neway... as u know, the beautiful kaela hwang have our own li'l tahoe trip mon~wed'f next wk. wendy et al'll be in the bay area thru next wk n' then'll take off to socal. 4tunately kaela n' i r also goin' down to socal, but they're goin' down b4 us n'll leave b4 us. 'gain, there's a narrow window'fn opportunity to meet up. freakin' a! if only i'd known 'bout this earlier i could've planned my "winter brk" better n' be a better cousin. *sigh* s'pposedly we're mtg up in sf on sat nite 4 dinner @ a korean restauarnt. i've been pushin' my hardest 4 brothers bbq (ÇüÁ¦ °¥ºñ hyungjei galbi) cos every1 knows that's like the place to go 4 korean fud in sf. un4tunately, sf really doesn't have the variety'f korean restaurants that silikon valley's k.town or oakland's k.town has. u know, it's kind'f like the how berkeley is w/ indian fud: when the gen'l population'f a region's open to eatin' fud'f a variety'f int'l cultures, then those restaurants un4tunately start waterin' down the authenticity'f their fud. u c, in fremont, i hear there's the most authentik indian restaurants. however, only indians/desi ppl go there. i guess lots'f the non.desi ppl in fremont just rn't open 'nuff to eatin' indian fud. out in oakland's k.town n' on el camino real in santa clara's k.town; 'gain... u find some'f these really authentik korean restaurants which non.koreans r scared to go in. the korean restaurants that r popular w/ non.koreans 2 often r the 1s that r watered down n' not as authentik. after all, that's what most'f the koreans in the area c to say 'bout korea house on el camino real n' san tomas. luckily, santa clara's k.town still has some authentik korean restaurants that r popular w/ koreans n' somewhat popular w/ non.korean - ¸íµ¿¼øµÎºÎ myungdong soondubu, ±æº¹ gilmok, û±â¿Í chunggiwa (blue stones)... in sf, yah... i'm sure there r lots'f ppl'f various races that r willin' to eat korean fud, indian fud, etc... thus, well... honestly, i don't hear'f the most authentik korean fud or the most authentik indian fud comin' out'f sf. yadadamean?
while readin' transworld skateboarding 2007 buyers guide i was surprised to learn that both adidas n' reebok've jumped into the skate shoe (skateboarding shoe) game. wow! i already knew, of course, that nike has nike sb n' nke 6.0. however, wow! reebok n' adidas? honestly; nike, adidas, n' reebok cm to make really good skateboard shioes cos they just plain make good shoes cos they've got so much experience in the shoe industry. oftentimes, their skateboarding shoes just look like athletik shoes. on the other hand, other more purist skateboarding shoe brands' shoes look more like casual shoes. me, i currenty wear vans.
