novemberrain

¼ö¿äÀÏ ¾Æħ: ¹¹¾ß?! 11ÀÏ¿ùÀ̳Ä?   whah?! it's nov?   wow, that's unbelievable!   well, now it's time to shift from halloween mode to elektion mode.   *sigh* i hate to get 2 political these days; but i guess i'll talk a li'l bit 'bout politks soon.

on the other hand, skateboarding!   i really like talkin' 'bout skateboarding altho' none (or possibly very few)'f u aktually like hearing/reading 'bout it.   ha ha ha!   well, i'm happy that i got a decent 'mount'f skateboarding in this morn.   i skateboarded w/ sooni.   that's fun.   she's aktually getting the hang'f mushing when needed.   i hope to make sure she knows when she's not allowed to pull on the leash n' when her mushing's appreciated.   i hope so.   jindo rn't sled doggies; but ppl've sed that sooni looks like 1'f the dogs in disney's 8 below.   i liked that movie.   man! i haven't watched a movie in ages!   *sigh* neway, i skateboarded w/ sooni, n' then i went to the sunnyvale skate park.   i guess i did that mon, tues, n' now wed.   i skated @ the skate park, n' then @ the end, i took off my pads n' skated a bit more, doin' low intensity stuff like curb tricks, while i dried off.   my knees get sweatty under my knee pads.   well; 2day, while i was returnin' home w/ sooni on skateboard, my wheels hit a stoopid twig on the ground, n' that sent me flyin'!   i fell on my hands n' knees... very ungracefully.   i'm glad no 1 saw me.   as i fell, i must've pulled hard on sooni's leash, she let out a li'l yelp'f fear or hurt; i'm not sure.   poor thing!   worse yet, after i got up, i accidentally let my skateboard kind'f hit her as i put it back on the ground.   poor thing! ³Ê¹« ºÎ»óÇØ¿ä!   nuhmoo boosanghaeyo.   [later] @ the sunnyvale skate park, i had a decent skate session.   1 breakthru: i started ollieing off the 2nd heighest block'f the triple block fixture.   basical i'm ollieing off sumpthin' that's 'least 2ice as hi as a curb.   it felt natural cos i've jumped off much bigger ledges on a snowboard.   dude, i've cn video clips'f skaters like ryan sheckler ollieing off rooftops, n' whoa... i don't think i'll ever do that.   it's amazin', but i guess the only reason ppl can do stuff like that's cos u'r rolling, so u use ur 4ward motion to dissipate the impakt'f ur vertical drop.   crazy!   neway, 'tis all fun.

Àç»ê¼¼ jaesansei = property tax.   i $ent in my property tax payment early.   i could've waited until 10¿ù01ÀÏ; but i don't want the hassles'f whate'er could happen if sumpthin' were to go wrong, like if i didn't sign my ¢he¢k or sumpthin'.   [later] ±Þ·á geubryo/geubnyo = pay¢he¢k.   i don't wanna be livin' pay¢he¢k to pay¢he¢k.   2nite, i'll prob'ly return to valley fair's giants dugout store to try 'gain to buy those icer air 2k6 tix.   maybe i'll also swing by copeland board shop to try to buy some pivot cups 4 my skateboard trucks.   my trucks r a bit wobbly cos the pivot cups r worn out.   i hate to admit this; but, lately, i've fancied the idea'f buyin' a 2nd skateboard.   maybe i ought to have 1 board 4 park ridin' (a nicer board) n' 'nother 4 my sidewalk/street rides w/ soni.   basically, i'd use my current mini.logo / bullet setup 4 sidewalk/street rides n' then a nicer board 4 the park.   however, in that case, should i buy a wider setup 4 the park?   i've worried that my 127mm bullet trucks w/ 7.75" mini.logo deck n' 54mm bullet wheels don't comprise the best setup 4 pool ridin'.   typically, skaters want a wider setup w/ bigger wheels 4 pool ridin': 4 example, a 8" deck w/ maybe 149mm indy trucks n' uh... *shrug* 57mm wheels?   in the ol' days'f pool ridin', decks were like 10" wide w/ 169mm indy trucks or wider.   my 1st real skateboard (the christian hosoi deck) had 169mm indy trucks.   *sigh* in a way, i sort'f wish i'd bought a nicer setup from the getgo, from the beginnin', back in jan/feb.   however, how was i to know i'd end up so into skateboardin'?   back then, i was so nervous 'bout the whole idea'f gettin' back into skateboardin' as a 31.yr ol' man.   neway, a wider setup means more weight, n' i always like to minimise weight.

these days, i'm weighin' in @ ~141 lbs.   i've lost ~6 lbs since i went vegetarian w/o sweets.   strange.   i didn't expekt this.   however, i do worry my weight loss is due to decreased muscle mass.   that'd be no good.

[later] last nite, we had hrm... maybe 'bout 50 kids come n' trick'r treat @ our house.   @ 1st, i was handin' out 2 candies per visitor.   then i noticed that i was runnin' out.   man! bags'f candy have less candy than they used to!   it's 1'f those "freakin' a" kind'f things; u know?   [later] basically, i'm sayin' it's 1'f those unpleasant things that u sort'f say, "it just goes to figure" 'bout, rt? *shrug*

i was just readin' a blog'f 1'f our friends.   i 4get how, but i discovered it recently, n' her husband was talkin' 'bout it this wknd.   it's s'pposedly a very widely read blog.   i notice, tho', that she's subscribed to the custom (which i've cn many other hard¢0r3 bloggers do)'f usin' initials 4 friends' n' family's names.   me?   4 the most part i don't do that.   i think, well... i think that upsets some friends... 1s who want their privacy.   i mean, my way'f usin' full names... 'least 1st names.   i understand tho'... how ne1 can google up a name these days.   in fakt, i've had friends mention to me how they found my website only cos they googled up some1's name. (don't be scared.)

last nite the google ¢he¢kout $10 off $30 offer expired.   that was a good deal, n' i'm a li'l disappointed that i only got to use it 1nce, when i bought my turtle beach external sound card.   oh well, no need to wa$te $$$, eh?

[later] hi strung: last nite, while waitin' 4 trick'r treaters after the beautiful kaela hwang came home w/ a replenishment'f candy, i restrung my classical guitar, which is the 1st guitar i ever got.   i used to have 2 guitars cos i also own or owned an eletrik guitar, which my friend al liu has permanently borrowed.

he sed he'd buy me a new 1; but i dunno... i dunno if i want a new elektric guitar or not. *shrug* i just jumped rt into stringin' the guitar w/o readin' ne direktions.   surprisingly, i did fine!   i don't think i ever restrung my classical guitar by myself, rt?   in the past (distant past), i always had a $hop do it.   however, i always strung my own elektrik guitar.   neway, it turned out fine.

[later] "but not tonight" by depeche mode: depeche mode's "but not tonight"'s 1'f my favourite songs.   didju already know that?   if u've studied my webpage (4 example, if u'r stalkin' beno), then u should already know that.   this song's a bit unique cos it's the last track'f depeche mode's 1986 black celebration album but is a really upbeat, happy.go.lucky tune on an album otherwise full'f really melancholy n' gloomy tracks.   i believe it was written to be a tune on the soundtrack 4 some british, teenybopper movie; but i'm not sure.   ah! a quick wiki search (wikipedia) taught me sumpthin'!   yes, "but not tonight" was used on a movie soundtrack, but not a british movie!   'twas on the soundtrack to an amerikan movie called modern girls.   i don't think the movie was really popular cos i certainly don't 'member it.   neawy, the song "but not tonight" starts out w/ the lyrics "oh god, it's raining, but i'm not complaining it's filling me up with new life."   when i 1st came to like to song, i was in middle skool.   in hi skool, i became a christian n' learned that it's bad to "take the lord's name in vain."   so i wondered 'bout the use'f "oh god" in the song, 'specially as the important 1st 2 wurds.   yah, i mean... as i spent the wknd scratchin' out expletives from 50 ¢ent, e.40, ja rule, n' justin timberlake songs; what 'bout musicians that rn't urban gangstas? (...cos u know justin timberlake's just such an o.g. thug! ha ha ha!)   whereas i've gotta deal w/ all the "n wurds," "f wurds," "p wurds," "b wurds," n' the like... what 'bout the g wurd?!   "beno, dude! when didju become tipper gore?   who died n' madeju tipper gore?"   well, when i was in hi skool, i liked to play this song on the guitar n' sing 'long, but yah... i had such issues w/ the openin' line, w/ "takin' the lord's name in vain."   thus, i had options: 1) skip the 1st two wurds or 2) substitute god w/ 1'f those silly euphemisms like "gosh," "golly," "gee," or "f@¢k" (just kidding).   well, last nite or so; i came upon a realisation.   if i really were to sing the song, instead'f finding a euphemism 4 the lord's good name; why not use his name but just not in vain?!?!   that is, why not sing the song direktly to god?   imagine these modified lyrics 4 a beno cover version: "hey god, it's raining; but i'm not complaining; u'r filling me up w/ new life."   it's a song'f rejoice.   why not rejoice in the lord?   why not sing praises to his name?   why not?   the "liberal" benocritic sneers, "if martin l. gore were dead, he'd be spinnin' 'round in his grave!"   u know what?   that's 'xaktly why i call myself a "progressive" n' not a "liberal."

neway, on our 1st nite btwn halloween n' elektion day, we may get some rain here in the bay area.   hopefully, rain in the bay area = snow in the sierras.   "snow in the seirras" sounds like the title'f a 1980s mellowsynthpop song, sumpthin' like shona laing's "soviet snow."   was there ever a song like "snow in the sahara"?   there certainly was a song called "snow in summer" by the cure in the 1980s.   a couple'f days 'go, i got from bronx's junkyard the mp3s 4 ºñ 4Áý bi 4jip (pronounced "bee sa jeep," meaning bi's 4th album).   "ºñ bi" means "rain."

back to the awful topik'f politks; my friend who has that popular blog, she sed on her blog that she n' her husband r both (political) conservatives - which i knew - but enjoy listening to npr.   i knew that 'bout them, n' i've gotta laud them as well as other conservatives like them that i know who can listen to so much radio programming that goes 'gainst their political beliefs.   i get pretty stressed in the head when i'm 4ced to listen to conservative talk radio stations like ksfo.   seriously!   i really like air1, "the positive alternative" contemporary christian musik (ccm) radio station.   i like the musik but worry that station's got 2 much'f what's wrong w/ modern christianity in this country, that is, they're startin' to push political agendas, 1s that so.called fundamentalists n' christian conservatives like; but i, as a christian, don't.   lately, i've heard many announcements by dr. james dobson.   altho' others @ my church like him; i personally have mixed feelings 'bout his msgs.   however, the msg he gave on the most recent announcement i heard totally jives w/ me: he talked 'bout how modern amerikan society doesn't give muthas 'nuf respekt.   i totally agree.   yah, modern amerikan society sez women need to werk n' have an award.winning career in order to be worth nething.   this is what modern amerikan society calls "feminism."   however, i always say, "2 wrongs don't make a rt."   men r already subjekted to this rat race that ruins marriages n' families.   subjekting women to this may make things fair but not rt.

"the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair."

[later] Àú³á ÀÌÁö¸¸ ¾ÆÁ÷µµ Á÷Àå¿¡¼: i'm still@werk.com.   i plan on goin' to valley fair 2nite.   i've gotta get my icer air 2k6 tic.   also, i need to buy some b.day presents: toby n' phil.   what would they want?

i'm glad i skated (skateboarded) a bunch 2day cos it's s'pposed to rain 2nite n' 2morrow.
