39th monthversary

just an ad: apple's new ipod shuffle

¸ñ¿äÀÏ ¿ÀÈÄ: 2day, i went w/ my cowerkers to a farewell lunch (4 some1 xferring out'f the grp) @ dynasty chinese restaurant.   we ate dimsum.   i avoided all land animal meats.   i felt bad that i was hoggin' lots'f the seafud.

2day's the beautiful kaela hwang's n' my 39th wedding monthversary.   kaela made a very good pt to say "happy monthversary" to me several times since midnite.

i did not even try to go to the sunnyvale skate park this morn.   i'm just givin' it a rest; i guess.   well, i can't wait to hop back into the game asap.   maybe i'll hit up the sunnyvale skate park 2morrow.   the weather's gonna be warm this wknd; 2 warm   i don't like "indian" summer.   i don't like it cos, altho' it might be hot durin' the day, it's still cold @ nite; so ppl get sick from the wide variation.   i don't like that.   i don't wanna get sick.   i have 2 weddings to dj "in a row," i.e. 2 sats (saturdays) in a row.   altho' this is very hektic; i guess it'd be even more hektic if i had 2 weddings to dj, 2 nites in a row, like sat n' sun or fri n' sat.   dude, imagine if i had to dj 3 weddings, 3 nites in a row!   like... if djing weddings were my main source'f income; then i'd hafta dj many weddings in order to make a living.   dude, even if i djed 1 wedding every wknd'f the yr n' ¢harged 2~3×: what i ¢harge these days; i still'd be barely making "a living."   seriously!   i mean... i know i don't ¢harge much... i used to werk 4 much cheaper during college; but i'm still not chargin' much.   i know i'm a good deal (as a dj)... a great deal.

well, many pastors've mentioned in sermons that where or how u $pend ur $$$ tells the truth re: where ur heart lies/is/rests.   u know?   well, i noticed this wk that i finally managed to lower my monthly ¢redit ¢ard expenditure this month.   how?!   *shrug* i'm not sure.   maybe it's cos kaela n' i haven't been going out 4 fan¢y dinners so much these days.   i mean, we had a few nice dinners lately; but i guess in the past, we used to indulge waaaaay 2 often.   maybe cos i've been so bizzy w/ church n' kaela's been so bizzy w/ skool; we haven't had time 4 those extravagant meals.   furthermore, i just hadn't been $hoppin' that much in recent weeks/months: like clothes, elektronic gadgets... i haven't been buying much'f those things.   well, shoot; un4tunately, my $pendin's 'bout to go up cos'f the dsl order n' cos i bought that turtle b!+¢h (turtle beach) external sound card on buy.com.   i also wanna finally put in a yesasia order... finally, after all tehese months.   i've been thinkin' 'lot 'bout buying a kind'f neat/nifty (but overpri¢ed) winter jacket from ccs, as i've aktually mentioned here b4 (but u prob'ly didn't notice).   4getchu not that, in the retail world, christmas's just 'round the corner!   crazy, huh?   halloween ain't even here yet; but malls've already been puttin' up their christmas decorations.   neawy, that's been the trend 4 several yrs now, like it or not.   well, how do u feel 'bout how christmas n' the "winter holidays" r comin' up so fast.   okt(ober)'s flyin' by, eh?   well, heck; i've managed to keep myself sooo bizzy this month: taekwondo, church, djing...   it's been like a friggin' time warp, eh?   "time warp..." isn't that some kind'f rocky horror picture show thing?!   i 1nce went to c the rocky horror picture show when i was a sophomore or junior @ cal n' found it disappointing not as much fun as it sounded like it'd be.   it's like goin' to a basketball game n' cheering but just w/ a diff (very diff) crowd, i guess.

neway, i realised a while 'go that i aktually $pend quite a bit'f my $pending budget on gifts 4 other ppl... like b.day gifts, etc.   furthermore, i realised that i give more gifts out than i receive.   however, i also feel bad that sometimes ppl give me really nice presents when i gave'em sumpthin' kind'f ¢heap.   *sigh* i dunno what to say.   it's all in "the spirit'f givin'" not to expekt sumpthin' in return, rt?   i guess so.

yesterday or the day b4 or so, on the nbc today show, i saw a segment 'bout this 1 yale college grad who made this ridiculous video résumé 4 an investment banking job, where he pretty much boast n' brags 'bout doin' all these aktivities like (shamefully) taekwondo, ballroom dancing (w/ some chick in a bikini top), powerlifting, etc.   the clips'f the video reminded me 'lot'f the ol' tom vu infomercials that used to air late @ nite ('least in the bay area), where this middle.aged vietnamese immigrant bragged n' bragged n' bragged 'bout how he came to 'merika w/ no $$$ @ all but made a huge killin' off'f investin' in distressed properties (n' thus had swimsuit models partyin' on his yacht n' in his luxury convertible).   ppl laffed their @$$es off @ that guy's infomercials; n' now, 'pparently, ppl'r rotfling over this yale dude's video r&ecaute;sumé that some employer posted on youtube.   i haven't watched the full video yet but want to.   i heard the dude's tryin' to sue youtube 4 this embarassment.   well... *sigh* i dunno how to feel 'bout him n' his boasting video.   like, in a way, i really feel ppl like this do need to be "taught a lesson."   after all, that's 'xaktly what the interviewer or employer or whoever that posted that video on youtube was tryin' to do.   however, "christian" in me feels compassion n' grace, n' then... u know... like, it's harder 4 me to ridicule this guy to death.   @ the same time... well, in good fun; yah, i'd like to c the full.length video on youtube; n' yah, i'm sure i'll 'least chuckle.   furthermore, i'm quite completely disgusted to the bone 'bout his taekwondo clips.   dude, those were just tacky!

well, in recent months, as u may've noticed, i've grown tired'f talkin' 'bout politiks, preferring to take a broader view'f life.   however, man... whadya guys think'f this current situation w/ north korea n' their nukes?   it's really interesting that all this north korea stuff's goin' on while the local korean tv station's currently airing the recent kbs k.drama ¼¿ï 1945 (seoul 1945) that's 'bout ppl during the korean war.   it's sort'f like we're gettin' a glimpse into how the north korea / south korea thing got started.   do ppl think it's a conflikt btwn south korea n' north korea?   uhm, since i'm not good 'bout being edukated 'bout history or current events or nething; i can't say i know much; but isn't this really a conflikt btwn the u.s.a. n' north korea?!   like, uh... why the heck'd north korea shoot a nuclear missle @ south korea?!   they'd shoot it @ us.   uhm, isn't the u.s. in quite a big mess then rt now?   like, just how likely is ±èÁ¤ÀÏ kim juhngil (jong il) to do sumpthin' like that?   if a country were to attack the u.s. now, who'd fight back 4 us?   england?   who else? south korea, japan... who else?   other european countries (besides england)?   i dunno.   i've heard that china's north korea's closest ally n' maybe the best country to tell north korea to put their nukes 'way.   i can imagine so; but i also think that china should've done that a long time 'go.   if china got north korea to stop threatening the u.s. w/ their nukes, then i imagine that they might expekt in return that the u.s. let them take over taiwan.   as u'd expekt, personally, i wouldn't like such an arrangement.   ppl've sed that since china's gained so much economik power over the past decade, they really need to take on my responsibility in global politiks.   yah... in a way, i think that's true; but, on the other hand, i'm very concerned 'bout taiwan's autonomy.

when i watch footage'f modern day north korea as well as re.enaktments'f historik north korea; i wonder much 'bout what life's really like in north korea.   1nce, i was sittin' 'round w/ a bunch'f guys, like in ken's ol' cellfon store or somewhere, n' i asked, "u know how when u install windows, it sez u'r not 'llowed to use it in north korea?   then, what do they use in north korea?"   1 guy sed that, well, they don't have 'puters in north korea 'cept in the military n' gov't.   'nother guy sed that, well, that's what "fckgw-rhqq2..." is 4.   ha ha ha ha!   rotfl! ÇÁ¸µÅ© ±³¼ö´Ô   in case u don't know; "fckgw-rhqq2..."'s the code that every1 used to install pirated windows xp pro (corporate edition) back when ppl used to build their own desktop pcs, cos laptops were 2 expen$ive.

speaking'f expen$ive, so when'll kaela n' i have a chance to celebrate our 39th monthversary w/ a dinner sumpthin'?!   this wknd's booooooked; booked beyond belief! (have i mentioned 'nuf how i'm aktually lookin' 4ward to nov(ember)'s arrival?)   i hafta run a 5k 4 werk 2morrow, then have t3 light grx bible study @ nite.   on sat, i have that wedding to dj.   on sun, i have this big church event to take care'f, n' i might have some family funktion.   next wknd's slightly lighter; since i just have that other wedding to take care'f... i've got the rehearsal dinner on fri n' the aktual wedding on sat.   what 'bout takin' sooni to petco 4 her to enter the halloween pet costume contest. *sigh* that poor doggy!   since i've been sooo bizzy this month, i haven't had as much time to hang w/ her. :-( [later] shoot, i just realised that the end'f the month's also the end'f the 0.25 4 me_@werk.com; so i'm, in a way, not looking 4ward to the end'f the 0.25 (eoq) cos i've got deadlines.
