drop, pump, backside, frontside

±Ý¿äÀÏ ¿ÀÈÄ: man, altho' 'twas a short wk (cos'f labour day), i'm amazed that i survived this wk, w/ my sickness n' all.   ugh...   i've been congested.   i've been coughin' up yucky stuff.   i had a sore throat earlier.   ugh, ugh, ugh.   i've been muddle.headed.   well, this morn, i woke up, walked sooni, n' went 4 a decent session @ the sunnyvale skate park.   the fakt that i went to the skate park n' skate(board)ed this morn made it a good morn, u know?   heck, yah.   i'm still sick, n' i felt my sickness as i skated.   i had to blow my nose a few times, n' i felt i didn't have my usual endurance or stamina.   when i arrived @ the park, i was the only 1 there; but soon, guys started tricklin' in. &nbps; aktually, last nite, after werk, since i skipped taekwondo, i aktually drove by the park to c if it was empty 'nuff 4 me to enter.   no, 'twasn't.   man, is it always this crowded in the evening?   there was aktually 'nother evening when i drove by w/ similar results.   man, so how was it that i managed to skate there that 1 particular evening when i brought sooni w/ me, that wknd that the beautiful kaela hwang was up in oregon by herself, n' i had my own skate camp by myself... 'member?   i skated 'lot that wknd.   back then, i couldn't drop in over coping but had to roll in on the curved sides.   now, i drop in over coping fine.   i'm prakticing rolling in over coping.   some kids can roll rt up to the coping from the top n' ollie n' then plunge rt into the transition.   dude, i can easily do that on a snowboard, but on a skateboard?   i can't do that yet.   u c, on a snowboard, it's instinktive ('least 4 me) to want to plunge downward; while, on a skateboard, i used to be more used to riding on flat ground.   neway, i've aktually made a bit'f progress lately: i can roll in from 1 end'f the park n' ride up the far wall... in the past, i couldn't do that, n' 'twas only cos i wasn't pumping properly.   now, i can do it.   hopefully, soon, i'll be able to catch air as i come out'f the bowl onto the flat ground 'bove.   i hope so.   also, i've started doing ollie frontside 180s on flat ground n' off curbs.   it's strange cos i can spin backside better on a snowboard but frontside better on a skateboard n' when i'm doing taekwondo.   strange!   still, i can carve n' kick turn better backside on a skateboard but frontside on a snowboard.   strange! &Nbsp; why's that?!   when snowboarding season resumes in a several wks (really! it's that soon!), i hope i can apply what i've learned via skateboarding.   i hope my 0.5pipe (halfpipe) riding (on snowboard)'ll improve 'lot.   i really hope so.   dude, this wknd's the mtn dew aktion sports tour.   i wondered if i should go, but i'm not.   i wasn't sure'f it'd be 2 immature 4 me to go. *shrug* "i tell u the truth: unless u change n' become like li'l children, u'll never enter the kingdom'f heaven.   there4, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom'f heaven." - matthew 18:3~4" can that be my excuse 4 all my recent À¯Ä¡ÇÑ yoochihan behaviour?

on wed nite, i went to pastor abel n' annie's apt in sunnyvale to do some planning 4 grx.   dude annie n' abel r so kewl, n' i hope that kaela n' i can hang out w/ them more.   i'm glad they're @ grx.   neway, our group there was planning 4 a lu.au party on okt 22 4 the married n' engaged couples @ our church.   wow, 'nother hawai.ian lu.au.   that's kewl.

last nite, after i opted not to try to tuff it out @ the crowded sunnyvale skate park but to go home n' rest, i went to dinner w/ kaela.   we ate @ pho hoa n' then went to the nearby café aroma 4 dessert.   4 dinner, i had pho w/ tripe n' rare steak (#7, small) w/ steamed sprouts n' "nonfat" broth.   kaela had some eggroll noodle salad thingy.   @ café arome, we shared a small gelato (tiramisu n' hazelnut) n' a large green tea latte.   while kaela studied @ the café, i $hopped online 4 bluetooth stereo headfons.   i really need a pair!

oh yah, earlier yesterday evening, i was @ the sunnyvale, ol' san francisco rd safeway.   i went there to buy some airborne cold .fightin' vitamin drink stuff.   i saw helen chae there (pastor dave's wife) w/ their kids... i was gonna say hi, but she looked a bit bizzy w/ her kids.   we have good ppl @ our church... n' i like that...   on the other hand... i'm pretty adamant 'bout not being 1'f those christians that just lives w/in the walls'f his church.   yah... i don't think that's rt, n' even our church discourages that.   we're s'pposed to be out there, doin' stuff, n' affekting ppl.
