ham didn't take care'f his drunk father.

¸ñ¿äÀÏn¾Æħ, 744a: i should be @ the sunnyvale skate park rt now but am not.   instead, i'm sitting in my subaru forester in the parking lot'f the mcyukyuk's, waiting 4 the beautiful kaela hwang 4 brkfast.   i dunno how we ended up @ this idea 'cept that we don't have much fud @ home n' badly need to go gro¢ery $hopping.   maybe we're quite due 4 a ¢o$t¢o trip.   i'm quite frustrated that i haven't yet hit the sunnyvale skate park this wk.   it's quite upsetting, so infuriating!

[later] 821a: i'm in my office now.   neway, i still haven't finished my wknd recap, n' it's thurs.   mark n' i went to watch lady in the water.   it's not scary.   it's like watching x.files.   [a li'l later] so unbeknownst to us b4hand, the story's based upon a fake korean folklore.   it involves these water nymphs, these doggies or wolves, these monkeys, n' an eagle.   yah, the involvement'f animals is like real korean folklore.   neway, after the movie we headed back over to mtn view's castro st to try to pick up the gurls from the buddha lounge, but they didn't wanna leave.   yah, they were behaving pretty badly, but whate'er.   'twas their nite out n' all.   mark n' i just sat outside the club like a couple'f losers who couldn't get in, while the gurls went back in to dance the very last 30 mins'f the nite.   we continued talkin' 'bout life, relationships, etc.   we watched lots'f drunk ppl wobble up n' down the street.   it was a li'l humourous.   finally, our women wobbled out'f the club, n' we went home.

the next morn, i went to church @ grx, which was @ the santa clara convention center.   pastor andy fitzgerald gave a great sermon 'bout 2'f noah's sons who took care'f him when he passed out drunk n' the 1 son who just went off n' told the others that his dad was drunk n' did nuthin' to help him.   'twas quite relevant... much more so than other ppl prob'ly realised.   i mean, yah; last nite, mark n' i were watching all these drunk ppl, n' well... yah, we shouldn't laff 2 hard @ drunk ppl, in a way... i mean... i dunno; if u'r friend gets drunk, u should help'im out.   if u'r wife gets drunk, u've gotta take care'f her.   *sigh* me, i know i've evolved into quite the insensitive guy, n' it's a major prob.   i dunno what it is, i.e. i dunno how it happened.   was my dad insensitive in raising me?   maybe i need sensitiveity training'f some sort. *shrug*

well, after church, my mom n' i ordered ȸµ¤¹ä hweduhpbab n' «»Í jjambbong @ ºñ¿ø biwuhn (biwon, secret garden).   i called kaela; or else she called me.   she hadn't woken up 4 church, so i had to go w/o her.   also, she didn't wake up 4 her study grp.   my mom n' i packed up the «»Í jjambbong, n' i brought it home to kaela.   she refused to eat it tho' cos she sed it was 2 spicy 4 her upset stomach.   well, she went back to sleep, n' then i had to go back out into the heat to meet up w/ a couple to discuss djing their wedding in oktober @ villa montalvo'f all places.

i met up w/ the betrothed couple in mtn view @ verde café.   that was funny cos i'd just been there the nite b4.... i mean, i'd just been in mtn view in the castro neighbourhood the nite b4.   wow, 'twas so hot!   i was embarrassed that my arms were dripping w/ sweat 4 almost the whole time i was talking w/ the couple.   after the mtg, i swung by Çѱ¹ ¸¶ÄÏ hangook market to buy kaela some packaged Àüº¹ Á× juhnbok jook (abalone porridge), which was very expen$ive @ $3.99 a pop (4 a li'l chef boy.r.dee meal.in.a.minute sized single serving).   crazy!   i bought 3'f'em.   kaela also wanted ±èÄ¡ gimchi/kimchi n' other ¹ÝÂù banchan, but the ¹ÝÂù banchan bar was cleaned out.   i had to buy some packaged ±èÄ¡ kimchi that looked very not fresh.   i bought some fresh ¶± dduhk (rice cake) tho'.   i went home.   i warmed up the Àüº¹ Á× juhnbok jook 4 kaela, but she refused to eat it.   earlier, i'd cut up a really nice plum 4 her, but she'd refused to eat that 2.   i cleaned the house, tidying up the mess.   uc, we skeduled a maid service to come in this wednesday (yesterday), so we needed to try to pick up our clutter.   i werked hard to pick up junk.   i moved my new dj speakers into the 'puter room all nice.   it was sooo hot, so i turned on the aircon (air conditioner).   dude, i don't wanna c this month's energy bill!   when it got a li'l cooler in the evening, kaela n' i sat outside n' ate the «»Í jjambbong.

on mon morn, i went to may's turbo kick box (tkb) class @ the east arques 24 hour fitness in sunnyvale.   usually, when i go to that, i come back home to walk sooni n' wake up kaela; but this wk, i had to go straight to werk afterward.   u c, 2morrow's the end'f the fiscal 0.25, n' also on mon nite, roland took us out to the jason mraz concert @ villa montalvo; so i needed to leave early.   *sigh* man, i'm so mad that i didn't get to hit up the sunnyvale skate park all wk!   neway, on mon, what happened?   hrm... i ate lunch outside, in my werk.com courtyard/atrium.   i sat w/ a cowerker n' watched the mutha duck w/ her 9 ducklings.   dude, they're very cute.   1 duckling kept wanting to catch yellow jackets.   how cute!   i wouldn't want it to get stung tho'.   i ate 2 neimann ranch burgers cos that was the spe¢ial 4 the day: 2 4 the pri¢e'f 1.   crazy!   dude, i've been eating horribly this wk!   hopefully, this sat, i'll bring more ¢a$h to the $anta ¢lara farmers market n' buy more fruits n' veggies.   dude, i've barely eaten ne veggies this wk!!!   well, we met up w/ roland n' samantha @ west valley college, where villa montalvo runs a shuttle service 4 their concerts.   we took roland n' samantha to le boulanger in the el paseo $hopping ¢enter 'cross from westgate mall.   originally, we were gonna hit up noah's bagels, but they rn't open 4 dinner.   kaela ordered this shrimp salad melt 0.5 sandwich w/ a salad, n' i ordered a reuben sandwich w/ less dressing, which was still 'lot.   well, we went to the concert.   'twas quite kewl to be back @ villa montalvo; brought back so many good memories.   'twas really romantik, n' jason mraz sang this 1 song that he wrote 4 his "sister's first marriage," which was a great song 4 our 3rd anniversary, if u ask me.   'twas like listening to a singer @ a café.   heh, is jason mraz like the male version'f jewel?!   i like jewel.   she rocks.   the audience was more female than male, n' jason mraz himself joked 'lot 'bout that.   he obviously realises that he has a very female fan base.   i was aktually 'least a li'l surprised that the crowd had so many asians.   i dunno; i just figure not sooo many asians go out to rock concerts, but i guess i was wrong.   yah, i guess every concert i go to 'round her has lots'f other asians: like the erasure concert, the depeche mode concert...   dude, the erasure concert back in uh... 2003? that had sooo many asians.   i figured andy bell n' vince clarke must've felt like they were playing a concert in japan or sumpthin'.   rt b4 the concert, kaela sent me out to buy bier fromt he concession stand, so i bought 1 heineken premium lite n' 1 budweiser selekt.   b4 that nite, i'd never tried either.   well, i had a good time.

on tues morn, i rode my bike to werk.   i ate a couple'f tacos in the courtyard 4 lunch but didn't c the ducklings.   i had tons'f mtgs.   then after werk, i rode home, put sooni in the car, n' went to taekwondo praktice.   after praktice, i taught our white belt class w/ mark n' ben.   then i went home n' cleaned a li'l more.

on wed, i wanted to hit up the sunnyvale skate park but didn't.   i gave sooni a decent walk.   i've been trying to give her better, longer walks these days to make up 4 "being a bad dad" in recent wks; that is, i'd been shortchanging her walks in order to go to the gym or to the sunnyvale skate park.   also, the whole wknd, she didn't get a walk, rt?   we were just so rushed w/ this n' that; n' also 'twas so hot!   when i got back home from the walk, kaela was mad @ me cos she sed she had some 740a class n' that i hadn't woken her up.   frick, i should've just gotten up early, told her to wake up, n' then gone off to the sunnyvale skate park instead.   i dunno, man.   obviously, we both wanted to get out'f the house earlier.   well, i had this lunchtime class thingy, where i ate 3 slices'f pizza w/o veggies.   then i went home n' werked on my laptop on werk.com stuff, while the maids cleaned.   wow, i got so much done, werking from home!   frickin' a!   wow!   i was sooo produktive.   i guess, on the typikal day, i waste lots'f energy, blocking out the noise that a nearby cowerker makes.   i dunno, man.   well, the maids did a good job, but i summed it up to kaela in a cellfon txt msg that our house looked "very clean but still cluttered."   it's true.   she needs to donate n' store her clothes.   she has sooo many clothes.   i'm glad she does, but they're 2 often just all over the place.   the maids made the bed all nice.   4 a short while, earlier this yr, i'd been making the bed every morn.   still, they made it nicely.

after werk, yesterday, (n' i werked decently late) i drove home n' then hopped on my bike to ride over to the nearby house'f couple from church.   there, pastor ali led a couples ministry leaders mtg, n' we ate all this good fud from armadillo willy's like ribs, bbqed chicken, bbqed beef, bbqed pork, sausage... dude, 'twas delicious but not healthy 4 me.   well, 'twas a good mtg, n' then i went home.   i pondered getting kaela n' going to safeway@rivermark to buy some fruits n' veggies but decided 'twas 2 late n' that i wanted to sleep early to wake up early to hit up the sunnyvale skate park.   however, in the end i still didn't hit up the sunnyvale skate park, so i'm absolutely furious.

[later] finally cooling down - last nite, 'twas much cooler than it's been in recent days.   this wknd was such a heat wave!   each day, mongst the next few, 'll get a li'l cooler: 2day, 83°f; 2morrow, 83°f; sat, 79°f (finally under 80°f!); n' sun, 76°f...   wow, talk 'bout relient k's "high of 75"!!! *sigh* i've gotta make it out to rasputin's or streetlight to search 4 that relient k 2004 album mmhmm. *sigh* it's now 2006.   in fakt, 2006's 0.5way over!   crazy!

y! news article: "Ice-cold watermelon is less nutritious"

[later] u know how i aktually like kelly clarkson's musik even tho' i know it's pretty teenybopperish n' all?   on sat, @ yoyo sushi, i noticed that they were playing a kelly clarkson song, while the tv on mute was palying a ford commecial w/ her in it.   funny, huh?

[later] 2nite, i'll go to teach our white belt taekwondo class, then do sparring praktice, n' then go out to dinner w/ À±»ç¹ü´Ô yoon sabuhmnim (john yoon), n' then eric johnson's gonna come over to be our houseguest 4 the nite as he moves into a new apt this wknd.   what's gonna happen this wknd?   well, shoot; i miss having relaxing wknds, when kaela n' i can make field trips w/ sooni.   'member those days? i do.   nowadays, we waste wknds: kaela'll say she needs to study all wknd, but whether she aktually does or not... sometimes she does, sometimes we just waste the wknd 'way.   [later] don't get me wrong: i don't resent kaela or nething.   however, i do miss how we used to be able to go out to sf or up to berkeley on like almost ne given wknd day.   i miss making those field trips.   it's summer now, n' sooni needs to have her field trips!   *sigh* i feel like we need to do things like this while we're still young; while we're still hangin' onto our youth.   someday, we'll have kids, n' we won't be able to get out'f the house so easily.   i mean, already it's harder to get out'f the house w/ sooni, in that we've gotta pack up her backpack'f stuff; but it's not as bad as trying to get out'f the house w/ a baby n' a diaper bag, rt?   last nite, @ the couples ministry leaders mtg, we talked 'lot 'bout how there r sooo many young parents @ our church.   yah, altho' kaela n' i have prolonged our childlessness; we do hope eventually to have kids; we really do.   sometimes, we cm like those $3x & the city yuppie types that simply hate kids, but i don't think we r n' know i'm not.   i do wanna eventually have kids; no doubt.   it's just a bit scary; also w/o doubt.

[later] wow, jars of clay's "dead man (carry me)" has such a retro.1980s, new wave sound!   pretty kewl.   [later] dude, so there's this kewl group called superchick.   the leader'f the group is max hsu.   he djs 4 the group n' plays keyboards.   funny, huh, that if there's a dj n' an asian in the group, it's most likely that the dj is asian.   well, they're a kewl group, so check'em out.   stellar kart; they've got that pop.punk sound.   maybe someday, we'll have a term like "soft punk" similar to how we have the term "soft rock."   dude, i just heard a really good quote.   maybe u've heard it b4: in reference to what it takes to get into heaven, "how good is good enough?   we don't need to answer that question because good people don't go to heaven; forgiven people go to heaven."

[later] ¿ÀÈÄ: so during my lunchbrk, i werked out in the werk.com gym, lifting weights.   man, i hadn't lifted weights in a long time n' hadn't werked out in the werk.com gym in an even longer time.   i felt like i couldn't lift as much. :-( that's bad.   maybe i need to resume weightlifting werkouts.   w/ all the taekwondo, turbo kick box (tkb), n' skateboarding; i'd sacrificed weightlifting.   i dunno...   well, after my werkout n' shower, i went to the werk.com cafeteria n' got some salad from the salad bar.   man, slim pickin's!   there was barely nething left.   i pondered buying instead some spicy tuna rolls 4 $3.45, but i didn't think it'd fill me up; n' i also needed some veggies in my diet badly!   i needed some fruits n' veggies.   i'd had a bad diet 4 the past few meals: egg mcmuffin, ribs etc., pizza, leftover reuben sandwich, tacos, reuben sandwich, 2 burgers...   crazy!   i really needed som veggies.

*sigh* i can hardly believe that july's coming to an end.   already, by the time we came back from vegas, i could easily tell that days were getting shorter.   in vegas, days were shorter cos'f geography, i.e. vegas is southeast'f us here in the bay area, in the silly valley.   the silikon valley is amerika's real heartland!

funny... on mon, we went to the jason mraz concert.   jason mraz's from virginia.   lately, i've been listening to many ccm (contemporary christian musik) artists, n' so many'f them r from sort'f "odd" places like the south, the midwest, the northwest... i expekt musicians to mostly come out'f good ol' cali4nia or else new york... or... *shrug* i know seattle had the big grunge era, n' i guess the smashing pumpkins came out'f chicago or sumpthin', rt?   just think: where do my favourite amerikan musicians hail from???   well, which amerikan artists do i like?   i like gwen stefani n' no doubt; n' they're (of course) from orange county.   i mentioned jewel earlier; n' she's from san diego n' alaska, rt?.   i used to be more into groups like r.e.m., n' r.e.m.'s from athens, georgia.   bay area groups? well, obviously, i wish the jenny thing were still 2gether, n' i haven't heard from matt easton in a while; but maybe i'm just not looking/listening hard 'nuff.   they're from good ol' berkeley.   speaking'f which, i'd sure like to check out more'f putnam hall's musik.   there's a good, wholesome cali4nian bunch, rt? *shrug* green day; obviously, they're from hercules / the east bay.
