¼ö¿äÀÏ ¾Æħ: *sigh* it's be whirlwind and flash... is that the saying? *shrug*   oh , i just googleed it up, n' the real quote from the sonic youth album cover is "I stole my sister's boyfriend.   It was all whirlwind.   Heat, and flash.   Within a week we killed my parents and hit the road." if u know that quote, i dunno whether to say u'r kewl or just stuck in the 1990s, worse yet, the early 1990s.   r u?   otherwise, might u be stuck in the early 2000s?   well, i'll tell u what: last nite, i went out 4 a late, late dinner after taekwondo praktice w/ our current taekwondo crew, n' it sure was a reminiscent flashback to my ol' cal taekwondo p. crew (party crew) days.   *sigh* *sigh* (that's 2 sighs!)   youth, energy, n' exuberance...   perhaps that's what my friends have to offer me.   heh, aktually our friend ernest in our crew; he's a li'l older than me, but he cms really young.   in some ways, i might cm young; but in others i might cm old.   i'm 30, n' i'm gonna turn 31 this yr.   while i'm off relearning to skateboard, other guys my age r teaching their 8 yr old sons to skateboard.   i've gotta say that 4 quite some time now, i've pondered writing a letter here in my journal; a letter to my future kids apologising 4 how i'll be so old when they grow up, whereas their peers may have much younger dads, who'll be able to do so many more kewl things than what i'll be able to do by then.   therein lies a question: in doing all these youthful things n' living still a youthful life, might i be extending my youth?   otherwise, am i wasting my youth, or rather what li'l i have left'f it?   cowerkers treat me like i'm so young since i'm just barely 2 yrs out'f grad skool, but they don't realise that i'm 30.

so what did i do yesterday?   well, i walked sooni in the morn (as opposed to 2day, where i didn't walk sooni since i ran out'f time, which is very sad).   i werked hard all day, of course.   during lunch, i werked out in the werk.com gym n' then ate a burrito from the werk.com cafeteria.   ("stop me, oh ho ho, stop me.   stop me if you think that you've heard this one before." - the smiths)   after werk, i rushed home, grabbed sooni n' went to taekwondo praktice, where we prakticed Ç°»õ poomsae n' kicked paddles/bags.   after praktice, most ppl stuck 'round to praktice 4 this particular upcoming de anza college demo on may 23 @ noon.   if u'r in the area, u really should go watch the demo.   i was happy n' maybe even pleasantly surprised to c that the demo looks very good.   i don't mean to say that i have such low expektations'f my friends or nething, but rather they just really look amazingly good.   well, while they prakticed, since i can't be in the demo cos i'll be in denver 4 my company's internal conference, i took sooni 4 a decent walk on skateboard.   i think we almost got run over 2ice!   ppl drive crazily @ nite.   u know, almost getting run over 2ice reminds me that, in a way, cars su¢k.   we should all ride skateboards instead.   neway, i skated 'round w/ sooni n' rode back to the µµÀå dojang, where i waited a while longer n' watched the praktice.   afterwards, we ate dinner @ ¼¿ï °õÅÁ seoul gomtang.

y! news article: "Internet addiction can harm lives, marriages "   honestly, marriages (n' other committed relationships) take werk.   i believe, often, young couples try to ignore this fakt, taking on a "it's not cool to care" attitude, which is indeed a very youthful - altho' not always beneficial - attitude.   i admit that i often take on the "it's not cool to care" attitude 'bout many things.   furthermore, i admit that in doing so, i'm being insensitive n' immature.   in some ways, we as a society need to promote a "it's cool to care" attitude.   i 'member that when the beautiful kaela hwang n' i started going to the couples bible study @ our ol' church (»êÈ£¼¼ Á¦ÀÇ ±³È¸), we found it to be sort'f like marriage counseling (altho' we wouldn't really know).   in a sense, that honestly is good.   u know what?   it's ok to care.   to make an effort to "work on your marriage," doesn't mean that u'r marriage is failing.   there's nuthin' wrong w/ preventative maintenance.

i am indeed flying out to denver myself on next mon morn n' returning next fri noon.   it's 4 a company internal conference.   in a way, i could've gotten out'f this; but also, in a way, i purposely didn't try to get out'f this cos 1) it'll be a great experience, very beneficial to my career, n' 2) i honestly do feel not good that kaela's always going off on trips n' whatever 4 her skool n' career, so it's 'bout time i sed "screw it," n' took off 4 a far 'way place 4 the sake'f my career.   that's awful, but... *shrug* kaela n' i were s'pposed to go to her classmate's wedding in oregon @ the end'f june.   i just found out yesterday that it's on a fri.   in that case, i really can't go cos i've gotta make more'f an effort to save my vakation days.   dude, i'd love to take a 2.week vakation next yr, in the winter, to both taiwan n' korea.   dude, that'd be so dope!   i don't get 'lot'f vakation time tho', so i've gotta make a real effort to save what li'l i get.   neway, kaela bought plane tix n's going to oregon by herself, not just 4 her classmate's wedding but 4 yet 'nother chiropraktic seminar.   i don't like it, but i guess i hafta put up w/ it.   i haven't been to oregon in ages, but kaela went a fwe yrs 'go when she was looking into going to naturopathic medical skool or whatever.   i'm glad she went to chiropraktic skool instead cos naturopathic medical skool is inherently racist cos it obviously has the attitude'f "traditional asian medicine is not valid unless it is prakticed by white ppl."

last nite, i showed kaela a bug bite that i got on sun.   cos'f the marks on the skin on my wrist that resembled erythema migrans, kaela was scared that i had lyme disease.   earlier, i'd shown it to ernest n' his gf, n' his gf thought it looked like just a mosquito bite cos'f the swelling.   well, 2day, the erythemaish marks r gone, so i really do believe it's not lyme disease.

well, as i read the wikipedia article on the great korean movie ½Ã¿ù¾Ö shiwuhlae (oktober love), which is better known in the non.korea community as il mare (italian 4 "the sea") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_Mare, i've confirmed that the new, upcoming keanu reeves movie the lakehouse is indeed an amerikan remake'f this 2000³â korean classic, which stars the ever popular ÀüÁöÇö juhn jihyun; who's per4mance in ¿±±âÀûÀÎ ±×³à yuhbgijuhkin geunyuh (better known in the non.korea community as my sassy girl) made her the fantasy'f asian.amerikan boys who just want a korean gurl to slap'em 'round a bit n' say, "Á×À¸·¡?!" ("jookeurae?!", translated as "you want to die?!").   u know, they ought to have a berkeley decal class on feminism in korean cinema.   dude, that'd be a dope class!   heck yah!   definitely, ¿±±âÀûÀÎ ±×³à yuhbgijuhkin geunyuh / my sassy girl'd hafta be part'f that course!   think 'bout asian movies that were remade w/ a non.asian cast: shall we dance?, eat drink man woman, ringu, n' now ½Ã¿ù¾Ö shiwuhlae / il mare.   is it just that amerikans r so racist that they can't bear to watch asian ppl on the silver screen?   yah, i guess... but keanu's technically hapa as he's part pacific islander (hawaiian, rt?). &nbps; i find it humourous that the lakehouse'll star keanu reeves n' sandra bullock... wow, a speed reunion!   the remake'f eat drink man woman w/ an all chicano.latino cast (tortilla soup) doesn't necessarily leave a bad taste in 1's mouth; but (i imagine) the other more "mainstream" remakes might.   also consider the remake'f the french film la femme nikita as the amerikan point of no return.   speaking'f cinema français, audrey tautou'f amelie fame's gonna be in the da vinci code, which opens on fri, eh?

overeating: i was so full after last nite's late, late dinner.   i ate ÇØÀå±¹ haejanggook.   since i was on the fon w/ kaela, trying to get her to come over, the other guys had to order 4 me, n' they ended up getting me ¼±Áö¾ø´Â°Í suhnji uhbtneunguht (w/o cooked blood).   i aktually don't mind ¼±Áö suhnji in my ÇØÀå±¹ haejanggook.   the owners @ ¼¿ï °õÅÁ seoul gomtang love ¼øÀÌ sooni n' call me "¼øÀÌ ¾Æºü sooni abba" (sooni's dad).   this morn, i had a big frickin' brkfast: 1 full bowl'f nature's path organik optimum power cereal w/ organik nf milk n' then a toasted bagel w/ tofutti soy cream cheese, lox, n' capers.   yesterday, i ate a toasted bagel w/ tofutti soy cream cheese, lox, n' capers 4 brkfast as i walked sooni.   this morn, i didn't walk sooni but ate that huge brkfast.   2day, kaela's taking (what she called) a "personal day," n' skipping classes to study 4 midterms or whatever.   we'll have lunch 2gether @ noon, but i dunno if i'll be hungry yet.

[Àá½ÃÈÄ¿¡, later] ÀÏÁ÷ ¿ÀÈÄ: kaela came w/ sooni to pick me up in her 2000 kia sportage ex. ±â¾Æ ÀÚµ¿Â÷   we went to the sunnyvale pasta pomodoro.   we had a pleasant lunch, but the hostess had to ask us against her will to have us tie sooni out by the entrance to the patio cos she sed the health dept won't let us have animals on the enclosed patio.   she was very nice 'bout it, so i don't hold ne grudge 'gainst her but that rule stinks.   i've found a cause to protest 4.   dude, we must protest 4 dogowners' rights.   we must fight!   dogs should be allowed in every bizness, especially hypoallergenic products shops. :-)   dude, we must fight!   we must fight!   we must fight!   neway, kaela ordered the melanzane pasta w/ fettuccine instead'f whatever they usually give... w/ salad... n' i had the pollo panini w/ soup.

[later] 50% off @ restaurant.com - enter code 53357.

2nite, i'll go to will's turbo kick box (tkb) class, which'll be taught by may instead, @ the e arques 24 hour fitness.   [later] then later, i'll go hang w/ my friend tim fong @ the cupertinio fantasia.

[later] 4 the longest time, kaela n' i kept hearing this 1 particular song, 'specially while waiting 4 movies @ amc movie theatres.   as a dj, i've been ashamed to admit that i didn't know the song.   well, i finally broke this da vinci code (ha ha, cheesy pop culture allusion that doesn't even werk!):

aqualung's a person, a guy.   he's real name's matt hales, n' he's an english singer, born in jan'f 1972 in london.   [later] i've gotta pick up a bunhc'f musik 4 the upcoming dj season, the upcoming wedding season, the upcoming wedding dj season.   i've also gotta buy my speakers, amp, n' wireless microfon(s).   *sigh* man, i'm gonna need to $pend a bit'f $$$, only to recuperate it in the fall, huh?   scary.   i recently dropped a load'f $$$ on our 24 hour fitness memberships, i guess.   my ¢redit ¢ard bill looks enormous this month.   oh yah, i s'ppose i've totally given up on snowboarding this sat n' thus pretty much'm done this season unless i somehow find ppl who wanna go to squaw on memorial day.   i figure i'd better dedicate sat to sorting out my dj bizness.   i'm scared tho'.   ppl'll try to get me to do other stuff like housewerk n' yardwerk.   both do need to be done, but i need to straighten out my dj stuff, need it more!
