maundy thurs

¸ñ¿äÀÏ ¿ÀÈÄ: i haven't updated in ages n' am totally behind.   however, simply tell urself that i'm 2 bizzy living life to dokument it.

some other songs that they might play r (in order'f probability):
  1. damaged people
  2. somebody/li>
  3. shake the disease/li>
  4. macro/li>
  5. a question of lust/li>
  6. leave in silence/li>
i'd really like to hear "somebody" and "a question of lust."   those r my 2 favourite depeche mode ballads n' 2'f my all.time favourite, overall songs.   just 4 ol' time's sake, i'd like to hear "leave in silence."   i notice that depeche mode is similar to the cure in how they cleverly use song titles n' the like.   notice that they end their main show w/ "enjoy the silence"?   i think they've done that in the past.   after all, they're silent after they finish their main show, rt?   then they use "just can't get enough" to start their encore cos the crowd'll be saying that they just can't get enough.   then they have "everything counts" to tell the crowd that every song they play counts.   then, they start their 2nd encore w/ "never let me down again" cos, by answering the 2nd call 4 an encore, they're not letting us down.   then, they close w/ "goodnight lovers" cos they're saying good night to their loving fans.   heh... altho' it all borders on cheesy, it's clever in my book.   what tf they played "leave in silence" rt b4 or after "enjoy the silence"?   u know what 1'f my favourite depeche mode songs is?   "but not tonight"...   they're not likely to play that; not @ all.

[later] Àú³á: aktually, some other songs that i aktually wouldn't mind hearing them play include: "strangelove" n' "shake the disease."   u know, 1 song'f theirs that is rather interesting is "master and servant" cos it's a song obviously 'bout bd$m but came out when they had such a backstreet boys image.   funny to think, huh?

[later] ¹ã 1051p: so last wknd, we went snowboarding w/ our grx t3s couples bible study small group.   there were 7'f us (an odd nombre cos 1 pregnant wife skipped out).   we drove up on fri nite.   my car stopped @ a p.town (pleasanton) in.n.out 4 dinner, n' i had a 2×meat w/ ketchup n' mustard instead'f special sauce.   hrm, i feel like i'm repeating myself.   i've sed this b4, huh? [later] yes, i did.   i wrote some 'bout fri nite but was interrupted.

well, when we got to the "cabin" @ lakeland village in the city'f south lake tahoe, the beautiful kaela hwang were very pleased to find that our friend had scored us a nice townhome.   i'd been in the exakt same model but in north tahoe in king's beach a long time 'go... on the sbty (south bay taifont>wanese youth) snowtrip, the very 1st time i snowboarded in 1992.   i think i was think i went back to that king's beach complex 1 more time later in life, perhaps on that trip that combined ucmap taekwondo ppl w/ dragonboat ppl n' toby.   however, i think that time we had a bigger unit.   neway... it was a nice "cabin' 4 1 nite.   in the morn, we had our complimentary continental brkfast in the main bldg'f that complex.   we got a later start to the morn than i wanted.

tahoe was not very crowded.   as i was telling my cowerker friend, i guess bay areans have given up on the snow season this yr.   the late start just made ppl give up.   well, we snowboarded @ sierra.   my grp, which was kaela, me, n' 2 husbands, mostly rode terrain parks n' only a few downhill slopes the whole day.   as 4 downhill, the black diamond run clipper was pretty good.   neway, i rode rails most'f the day.   the snow was slow n' the rails r looong there.   i guess since its the end'f the season, the resort folks figure we've all had 'nuf praktice, so they've made the rails really long.   wherever the rails weren't long, they'd combine 2, 1 rt after 'nother.   also, they were angled upwards, to give u lift as u finished, but that slows u down.   neway, many times, i didn't have 'nuff speed to finish the long rails, so i had to jump off the sides.   4 some reason, i kept smacking myself on my left butt cheek almost every time i went off the side.   maybe 'twas cos i didsp; 'twasn't have 'nuff speed, rt?   *shrug* neway, my left butt cheek really hurt afterwards.   *sigh* i felt rather humbled cos'f that.   my previous trip, which was to sugar bowl, humbled me cos'f all the powder runs.   *sigh* i guess i feel pretty humbled rt now.   worse, the rails scratched up my board's base a bit, so i'll be doing base repair soon.   *sigh*   neway, on our way home, i led us off the mather field exit in rancho cordova to folsom blvd, where we went to ÇÑ¹ç °õÅÁ hanbat gomtang.   i ordered ¼ø´ë soondae.   'twas a great dinner.   then we drove home.

on sun, kaela n' i went to church.   i'm glad we could go 2gether.   then, we met up w/ my mom @ vallco's dynasty restaurant 4 dim sum.   mmmm...   'twas good.   then, we went w/ my mom to stanfurd mall.   u know, stanfurd mall's pretty kewl cos they let doggies in almost everywhere.   however, stanfurd still sucks cos ppl cm pretty elitist n' all.   i bought some raw almonds n' some dried blueberries @ some fancy schmancy gourmet grocery store.   i didn't buy nething else, rt?   yah, i'm trying to $ave a l li'l $$$ n' haven't been buying much clothes lately, huh?   eh, it's ok.   however, sometimes i think 'bout how wearing nice clothes does make me feel good; i've gotta admit.

i thought phil was gonna visit that nite, but i'd misread his e.mail.   rather, he was coming mon nite.   uh, what did we eat 4 dinner?   i think kaela cooked some kalgooksoo, while i did some housechores or sumpthin', rt?   i know kaela n' i went to orchard supply hardware sometime b4 dinner.

on mon, 'twas back to werk.   during my lunchbrk, i hurried over to the county office to submit a check 4 our property tax.   then i came home to eat soup n' salad 4 lunch.   i was feeling pretty sick w/ a cold n' had my sore left butt cheek.     that evening, phil came.   he walked sooni w/ me, n' then we went to the santa clara costco to get gas.   then we met up w/ kaela @ û±â¿Í chunggiwa 4 dinner: Çع° ÆÄÀü (¹Ý) haemool pajuhn (0.5 order), ´ß °¥ºñ, Çع° ³«Áö Àü°ñ.   'twas a lot'f fud, a lot'f frickin' good fud!   ah, delicious!

on tues, i went to werk.   hrm, what else?   i guess i ate leftover ´ß °¥ºñ dalk galbi w/ some trader joe's instant thai rice noodles 4 lunch.   i went to taekwondo praktice after werk n' that really reenergised me.   dinner?   i cooked up some ±º ¸¸µÎ goon mandoo n' edamame 4 kaela n' me.   wed?   on wed, i had lunch @ saravana bhavan w/ vince.   i had the most awesome south indian dish: dried fruit rava dosa.   dude, u've gotta try this!   it's delicious n' prob'ly pretty healthy.   we've had pretty wet weather lately.   on wed nite, afer werk, i jogged w/ sooni.   then, kaela n' i went to ay chung 4 dinner, where i ordered pai goo fan (pork chop rice) but got ji tsueh fan (chicken thigh rice) which was much more like ji pai fan (chicken chop rice).   dude, it was delicious!!!   kaela got the squid stew bean noodle soup (bean noodle, not soup w/ bean).   we also shared a uh ah jien (oyster pancake).   we had some squishees 2: almond 4 me n' kiwi 4 kaela.   after our awesome taifont>wanese feast, we gro¢ery $hopped 4 a long time @ the rivermark safeway.   i can't believer our bill went over $100!   we stocked up, i guess.   i commented to kaela how the rivermark safeway shows such a dichotomy btwn the ultra.yuppie patrons n' the super.werking.class employees.

2day, i brought a ham sandwich 4 lunch.   2nite, kaela cooked some kind'f ¿ÀÁø¾î ¸Å¿îÅÁ ojinguh maeoontang n' some ¸ðµëÀü modeum juhn (È£¹Ú, µÎºÎ, ½ºÆè) (hobak, dubu, spam) n' some shrooms.   man, 'twas delicious n' i gobbled it up.   we watched this dvd, ¸»ÁװŸ® ÀÜȤ»ç / maljookguhri janhoksa.   oh yah, on tues nite, we finally watched ¾î¸° ½ÅºÎ / uhrin shinboo.

2day's maundy thurs.   2morrow's good fri.   sun's easter.   sat's the 37th annual uc open.
