2006.03.16

manual

목요일 아팀: 2morrow's st. patrick's day. hrm, does st. patrick = san pedro? peter = pedro, rt? does patrick = peter? *shrug* petrified... peter = rock. patrick? *shrug* last sat, when i was @ bay st. emeryville w/ our good friend roland, we went into old navy. old navy was selling all this st. patrick's day clothing. they made such a big deal'f it. the blue n' green colour scheme aktually looked very nice. i've thought 4 a while that that's gonna be the next big thing, which'll replace the now almost cliché n' trite brown n' blue colour scheme. yah, that was last christmas season's colour scheme. yah, it's almost out the door, but i'm aktually sportin' that colour scheme 2day, wearing my brown cardigan, blue jeans, n' a blue shirt. oh, n' my belt's both brown n' blue! my shoes n' overcoat r both black, so i'm not completely matching. when i saw all that st. patrick's day clothing, i reminded roland'f how a few yrs 'go, old navy sold a bunch'f 4'f july clothing in a similar fashion: the t.shirts r just $5. dude, i'm sure next wk, the t.shirts'll be like $2.50, rt?
i s'ppose it's good that i fell asleep relatively early last nite. i couldn't stay 'wake thru the 1100p news on nbc 11. did i? i feel like i did c some'f leno last nite, did i? *shrug* i had a dream this morn 'bout going to some state or ant'l park, where i drove my subaru forester thru some deep h2o n' then was lifted out'f the h2o onto some bridge. like that was how ppl routinely visited the park. d'ya wanna analyse my dream? a couple'f nites 'go, i didn't sleep well @ all cos the beautiful kaela hwang was studying in bed n' then later sooni kept waking me up. i figured that she wanted to be let out into the backyard to relieve herself, so i eventually got out'f bed n' let her out. cos'f all that, i woke up kind'f late yesterday. however, 2day, i woke up early n' brought sooni out 4 a nice jog. i need to jog more as i just plain need to exercise more.
[later] 오후: i wonder if this web page is ne good: "bible spiritual gifts tests (60 questions)". maybe u should take the test... if u'r a christian, like me. i dunno how good or accurate the test is, but... *shrug*
@ lunch, kaela came to pick me up n' then we met w/ some grxers @ atehna grill on space park @ scott. it was a fun lunch gathering'f christian, asian.am young professionals in the area. i think there was like 8'f us. i'd been to athena grill 'least 1nce in the past n' knew it'd be crowded n' crowded mostly w/ ppl from my company. i was rt. i sed i didn't want beef cos i've been eating so much red meat lately; but, when put on the spot @ the order counter, i ordered the arnáki pita, which is a lamb sandwich. upes. kaela had the grilled eggplant standwich. the fud was good. personally, i prefer yiasoo over athena grill; but athena ain't bad, i guess. wow, it was sooo crowded w/ ppl from my company!
[later] yesterday (i think 'twas yesterday), i started to discuss the almost round three video n' how i found it such a better werk than the vans video. i gotta say, that kinda hurts to say cos the vans video does have steve caballero 4 a very short while, n' steve caballero rocks. however, it's just these new, young kids that r such jerks that make the whole thing cm kind'f lame n' immature. as i was saying yesterday, i like the almost video much better. u know, 1 thing that makes the almost video rock's that it has kewl musik. it has that "my favourite game" song. whose song is that, sheryl crowe? oh, no... i didn't think so; it's the cadrigans. yah, i thought 'twas some1 more 'long those lines. 4 a sec, i was gonna guess garbage, but it just doesn't sound dark 'nuff. neway, get this the almost video has the cure's "why can't i be you?" dude, that's a song i prob'ly put into my own lame skateboarding videos i made in 9th grade. awesome! dude, watching rodney mullen, i just kept thinking how kewl it is that he's still doing the same "freestyle skateboarding" tricks he did in the 1980s but adpated 4 streetstyle. dude, that's so kewl. [aterl] neway, the use'f the cardigans n' the cure makes that video so classy, man! also, the video has cute animation. i 'member now the cardigans' "favourite game" video: it's the 1 where the gurl's driving fast down the highway w/o stering, 4cing every1 to swerve off the road to miss her. s'pposedly, that video stirred up some contreversy 4 inspiring kids to try that out. it's an artistik video. this afternoon, i'm listening to a live "bootleg" cure cd. i bet this "bootleg" import cd's worth a good amount now, but i dunno. it's prob'ly some kind'f collektors item.
2nite, i might do some korean gro¢ery $hopping @ either 갤러리아 플라자 galleria plaza in santa clara or 한국 마켓 hangook market in sunnyvale. [later] 저녁: after that, i'll go home, maybe eat dinner 1st, n' then do some base cleaning, base repair, n' hot wax. it's "beno's snowboard shop" in the garage 'gain 2nite. [later] yah, un4tunately, it looks like i'm skipping taekwondo sparring praktice 2nite. i guess i'm glad i 'least jogged this morn.
[later] keep in mind that i have coined 3 important phrases here:
- "keep santa clara weird."
- "san joséana"
- "silicon valley: america's real heartland."
if i owned either a café or a cable company in santa clara, the slogan could be "keep santa clara wired." perhaps, that'd be funnier n/or more clever in the original city'f santa cruz: "keep santa cruz wired." man, if only i could run my own radio station... heh heh, that thought just came from my thinking just now 'bout making a list'f my favourite songs @ the moment. i used to do stuff like that when i was a kid, make lists'f my favourite songs, etc. aktually, when i was a kid, i was really into reading the musik charts, like what the top 100 singles were, what the top 100 albums were, etc. [later] so which korean gro¢eryshould i patronise 2nite?
[later] 밤, 907p: after getting out'f werk much later than desired, i went to big! lots to buy sooni some dingo brand chews. then i went to the bank to depo$it a ¢he¢k, then to 한국 마켓 hangook market to gro¢ery $hop. then, i came home n' cooked packaged 짬뽕 jjambbong. now, it's raining really hard outside, which is crazy cos it didn't rain all day! i haven't started werking on my snowboard, which is bad. i need to. i do love the sound'f rain.
[later] 1129p: so when did the term "manual" develop??? a manual is what we called a "wheelie" as a kid. i heard "manual" 1st as a skateboard kid almost 2 decades 'go, but i discovered recently that mountain bikers also use it.
