i still haven't had a chance to buy some skateboarding shoes.   in case i haven't mentioned it, the reason i want skateboarding shoes to wear instead'f just my ol' sneakers is cos i'm starting to wear an ollie hole in my left shoe.   when u ollie, u drag the outside'f ur left foot up, across the deck's griptape.   that's like sandpapering down ur shoe.   i'm trying to find time to go out to designer shoe warehouse (dsw) on stevens crk blvd to $hop 4 a pair'f skateboarding shoes, but i just never have time cos my werk sucks up so much'f my time.   i don't have free time nemore.   this is such the typical silicon valley (engr) story, huh?   i get into werk b4 the sun fully rises n' leave way after it has set.   i don't have time to visit stores, run errands, do gro¢ery $hopping, yarwerk, nuthin'!   is this ne way to live life?!   the semiconduktor manu equipment industry's vicious, so we werk hard.   competing 'gainst engrs from india n' china, i guess, is vicious; so we werk hard.   i don't wanna be such a werker bee or werker ant tho'.   i wanna feel that my ability to innovate gives me an advantage.   i have opposable thumbs.

neway, back to the issue'f the skateboarding shoes: i know costco sells a pair'f very plain, prob'ly rather outdated dc brand skateboarding shoes 4 like $39.95 or so.   i've pondered buying those since costco's nearby n' accessible.   it's such a tragedy that i can't even make it out to the shoe store tho'.   the costco dc shoes r white, n' i typically don't wear white shoes or socks.   when'll i ever find time to break 'way from the worn out werk routine to visit a shoe store only to throw 'way my $$$?

[later] thurs nite's fight club: i think 2nite i'll go to taekwondo sparring praktice.   when i started out this wk, i believed i'd skip this thurs's taekwondo sparring praktice to do base repair on my santa cruz gian simmen pro model x152 snowboard.   on our last trip out to kirkwood on presidents day, i made 1 decent scratch on my board's base.   i'm not 2 sure how it happened, but i have a theory: @ 1 pt, i wanted to take a jump off a li'l tree stump, so i did.   i think maybe that tree stump was aktually a rock.   upes.   since that day, i bought some ptex candles from a seller on ebay.   i've received my 10 ptex candles.   i could do base repair, but i figure this: base repair would require a base clean n' rewax.   i'd be up 4 doing base repair, but i'm not so sure i'm up 4 spending like 3 hrs doing a hot wax.   that's how long it cms to take me.   i just did a hot wax n' base repair 2 days 'go, i.e. 2 days on the slopes 'go, i.e. i did base repair n' a hot wax after our heavenly trip, where we snowboarded the streets.   then i rode 1 day @ sugar bowl n' 1 day @ kirkwood.   i dunno if i'm ready 4 'nother hot wax so soon.   sure, they say the pros start each day w/ a freshly waxed board, but i don't have that kind'f time or $$$.   btw, i saw snow on the east side (east san jo / east san jose / east san josé) hills this morn while walking sooni.   she's a cute, well.behaved doggy!   well, 2nite, i think i'll just go to taekwondo sparring praktice (altho' my lower back's a li'l sore from sleeping wrong).   u c, it's Å« »ç¹ü´Ô keun sabuhmnim / °Ëµµ »ç¹ü´Ô guhmdo sabuhmnim's last chance to c us b4 he moves back to korea.   it's so sad n' so sudden.   u know who'll miss him sooo much?   sooni!   Å« »ç¹ü keun sabuhm so often took sooni 4 walks while we prakticed taekwondo.   the 2'f them share a special bond.   if only sooni understood that 2nite'll be the last time she'll c him.   we taekwondo students plan to take Å« »ç¹ü´Ô keun sabuhmnim out to dinner after praktice 2nite.   now, i'd pondered skippin praktice to do base repair on my snowboard n' then joining 4 dinner; but then i realised that i'd miss the whole pt.   i've gotta give sooni n' Å« »ç¹ü´Ô keun sabuhmnim 1 last evening to spend 2gether on a nice walk.   *sigh* it's very sad.   however, yah; i'll go n' let li'l kids beat (up) on me 4 sooni's sake. heh heh.   duk kyung suggested that we take him out to dinner @ °íÇâ»êõ gohyangsanchun, the deliteful, homestyle joint on homestead near kiely in the strip mall that has safeway, longs drugs, armadillo willy's, stan's donuts, jei learning center, dasaprakash, quizno's n' either a ross or marshalls (i 4get which).   they make good Àü°ñ juhngol type dishes.

i'm gonna need to buy some snowboard base cleaner sometime soon.   aktually, i think i'm out.   i'll need to $hop 'round.
