È¿äÀÏ ¾Æħ: i understand that this colour scheme may hurt ur eyes; but, just 4 v.day, i'm gonna use it. happy v.day!
[later] ¿ÀÈÄ: i werked out during lunch @ the werk.com gym: lifted weights did side kick leg lifts n' front kick leg lifts (but no real kicks), n' stretched. 4 lunch, i ate @ my cubicle a beef verde burrito from the werk.com cafeteria. 'twas very filling n' prob'ly way 2 fatt'ning 4 me. *sigh* how do u say beef en español? carne de vaca. yah, i figured cow'd be sumpthin' like vaca cos'f le mot français the french wurd "vache" n' the wurd "vaquero." languages r great. even if we can't be polyglots, we ought to figure out some basiks, u know?
i'm s'pposed to go snowboarding on sat w/ taekwondo ppl. ideally, i'd like to make 2 day trips: sat n' mon, which's presidents day. i hope i can do that. i might need an oil change tho'. these days, i have a mildly interesting situation, where i look @ each upcoming wknd n' wonder if i'll be a snowboarder or a skateboarder . as i was saying on the bronx's junkyard forums last nite in a post re: asian.am olympik athletes, i'm like shaun white, 'cept i'm old n' suck. ha ha ha. well, deep down, i think i'm competant on a snowboard but i've got much to relearn 'bout skateboarding. however, since i'm in much better physical shape now than when i was a kid; i honestly estimate that i'll relearn in ~3 wks what i originally learned in 3 yrs. does that sound realistik? in all honesty, i was never that great @ skateboarding as a kid. i was just 2 fat.
shaun white: he's a pro snowboarder n' a pro skateboarder. when i last saw him compete in the x.games in skateboarding, they made it sound like he'd just picked up skateboarding after snowboarding all this time; but that's not true. he'd been skateboarding since he was a li'l kid as well, apparently. he cms like a decent guy. i hope this fame n' success doesn't go to his head. his sponsors r burton snowboards n' tony hawk's birdhouse skateboards among others. i find it very interesting that he's on tony hawk's birdhouse team cos he cms to fit in w/ that scene. i believe both'f them r from carlsbad, ca. i 4get, but 'long time 'go tony hawk sed he was from a southern californian city famous 4 some outspoken neo.nazi, white supremacist but that the townsppl rn't all like that. i dunno if that town was carlsbad or some other. i think it makes sense that shaun's on the burton snowboarding team but that it would also make sense if he were on the shaun palmer's snowboarding team. in some ways shaun palmer reminds me'f tony hawk. honestly, i find the palmer snowboard company to have this nasty, arrogant attitude; 'least that's what i c in their marketing. yah, it's funny, but can imagine associating the following companies 2gether: palmer snowboards, burton snowboards, birdhouse skatebaords, n' powell.peralta skateboards. tony hawk was originally w/ powell.peralta. i've sed b4 that burton's like the microsoft'f snowboarding. i personally kind'f avoid buying burton snowboards. when i used to ride my bro.in.law steve's board, i used his burton custom bindings. they were fine. i use burton mittens n' a burton boot bag. kaela has burton mittens similar to mine. u know i ride a santa cruz snowboard . however, if i had to pick a deck from a diff company, maybe i'd pick a forum or ride board. lib tech? maybe i'd consider lib tech. i sort'f avoid burton, as i sed; n' i avoid ski companies like rossignol, salomon, n' k2. even tho' the company world industries has established itself in both skateboarding n' snowboarding, i find them to be a really cheesy brand these days. i used to have more respekt 4 them; but it cms to me now that they just make low.end produkts 4 kids. it was hilarious tho' when otto's skoolbus on the simpsons made a jump n' u saw a world industries logo on its underbody! that was funny!
[later] here's the post i put up in the bronx's junkyard forums olympiks thread:
1 thing that i find kind'f interesting is that i c lots'f asian.am kids say they like the korean speed skaters so much over apollo cos they're asian... but they neglekt that apollo's also asian. i dunno why, but short track ice skating's simply totally dominated by asians... it's nice to c asian.ams on the u.s. olympik team, considering how asian parents don't emphasize athletiks @ all.
pro skateboarder daewon song sed it best in his giant robot interview when he sed asians n' asian.ams dominate skateboarding, figure skating, n' tennis. of course, he neglekted speed skating... after all, there's the korean.am chick halie kim. it's ironik that asian.ams can totally dominate skateboarding but can't break in so well to pro snowboarding. there's that 1 chick named yulin sumpthin'. there's lots'f japanese competitive snowboarders but there rn't many asian.am competitive snowboarders. man... i wish i had taken snowboarding more seriously earlier in my life... then 'gain, by the time snowboarding got widespread, i was already 2 old to be competitive.... just think how shaun white's been snowboarding since he was sooo li'l. didju c those clips'f him as a kid? the 1st time i went skiing in 8th grade, i barely saw ne snowboards. i didn't start snowboarding till my sr yr'f hi skool... however, 'least i had skateboarding experience... recently, i've taken up skateboarding 'gain, so i'm transitioning back... dude, i'm like shaun white... but heck'a old n' no where near as good! ha ha ha. dude, if ne'f my future kids grow up to be a pro snowboarder, i'd be so proud.
shaun white's cm pretty kewl. i find it very interesting that he's from carlsbad. that's where tony hawk's from, rt? n' shaun rides 4 tony hawk's birdhouse skateboards label, rt? his snowboard sponsor's burton... dude, every1 rides a burton; it's the microsoft'f snowboarding. thus i refuse to ride a burton board. ha ha ha.... yah, the 2 boards i've owned've been santa cruzes. yah, i find it interesting what boards the olympians r riding... danny kass rides a gnu, rt? there was some european (the french dude? *shrug* i 4get.) who kept flashing the bottom'f his board as an obvious advertisement 4 the company. i think his board was a lib tech... all i sow was "ologies."
so whadya think 'bout michelle kwan? dude, the 1st time 1'f my best friends n' i saw her on tv cos we were bored n' were thus 2 guys watching figure skating, we thought she was pretty cocky. however, now i really feel 4 her. maybe i especially feel 4 her cos every1 keeps saying she's old (@ 25), n' i know how it is to feel old 'mongst young'uns.
...
korean adoptee toby dawson, 'nother asian.am olympian... he's a skier.
...
aktually, it's kind'f interesting that daewon song sed that asian.ams can dominate tennis. that's cos he's old like me n' remembers michael chang's heyday. nowadays, women's golf'd be a better choice over tennis, rt?
