swaziland

±Ý¿äÀÏ ¾Æħ: cos i'll soon be even more bizzy w/ christmas $hopping, i've gotta warn u that my journal entries r most likely gonna get kind short n' less frequent 4 a while; just a temporary thing.   last nite, i went $hopping @ target, altho' i bought some b.day cards, i didn't buy ne presents, altho' i aimed to do so.   oh! did i mention that the beautiful kaela hwang n' i went to valley fair on wed nite?   we ate a huge sushi dinner @ the korean sushi restaurant there, sushi boat.   it was pretty good stuff, but i know they're going w/ the recent trend'f serving lots'f deep.fried sushi.   that stuff is decently tasty but very unhealthy!   kaela n' i $hopped @ valley fair till it closed.   i wanted to start the evening earlier, but man... i get so stuck@werk.com these days, u know?   i mean, i could procrstinate, but then i'll definitely be crucified @ the end'f the wk b4 christmas.   as i've sed b4, even tho' the silly valley's a wonderful place, the semiconduktor industry's very vicious!

last nite, when i was @ target, my $hopping ¢art disappeared.   i was mad cos that had happened 1nce b4 w/ kaela n' me.   that time, in the past, our cart disappeared, n' it cmed that an employee had taken our cart n' put our merchandise back on the shelves.   well, last nite, i think what happened was that an old man stole my cart!!!   @ 1st, i thought maybe an employee took my cart n' put my merchandise back on the shelf; but later, i found my merchandise shoved onto a shelf.   just a li'l b4 that, i saw this ol' man pushing an empty cart near where i left my cart.   dude, that f@¢k3r stole my cart!   dude, that's sooo messed up!   how can ppl be so shameless?!   altho' i couldn't decide on or find a b.day present, i ended up buying myself a white thermal undershirt 4 $12.95.   i wasn't sure whether to buy it or not, but the deciding faktor was that it wasn't made in china.   do u know where it was made? swaziland...   @ 1st, i read the label, n' thought, "swaziland... that must mean switzerland.   kewl, swiss.made clothes must be good quality."   then later, i thought 'bout it again, "wait, swaziland isn't switzerland! i think it's an african country.   well, 'least it's not china."   @ this moment, let's consult wiki(pedia): swaziland - "the kingdon of swaziland is a small country in southern africa (one of the smallest on the continent). . . embedded between south africa in the west and mozambique in the east.   the country is named after the swazi, a bantu tribe.   the head of state is the king, which since 1986 has been king mswati iii. . .   king mswati iii is often criticized for living so lavishly in a nation that is afflicted by one of the world's highest hiv invection rates.   his fleet of luxury cars, millions spent towards refurbishing his numerous wives' luxury mansions, are at odds with the approximately 34 perecent of the nation that stand unemployed, nearly 70 percent of which live on less than a dollar a day, and with around 39 percent of adults who are afflicted by hiv."   whoa... i dunno what to make'f that ekonomy n' trade situation; i.e., do u buy produkts from that country in order to support those underpaid werkers or do u boycott proukts from that country in order to punish the crooked government?   ain't that always the question???   after all, shoot, that's the main dilemma w/ buying produkts from china or vietnam, rt?   the laborers there r so abused.

of course, i also avoid produkts made in china cos'f china's anti.taiwan policies.   i heard the kmt won some recent elektions in taiwan.   i dunno, man; i worry that things look kind'f bad.   i don't wanna someday hear talks'f so.called "reunification" etc.   i don't care whether the communists or capitalists r in control of china, but china should not have control over taiwan.   taiwan's just a separate country.   i mean, shoot; what next?   should china be in control of korea?   ok, i know that sounds ridiculous to every1, but so should the idea that china should have control over taiwan.   if u ask me, the taiwanese culture's much like korean culture: influenced (but not defined) by chinese n' japanese culture.   however, as u should know, unlike korea, as well as unlike china; taiwan has a relatively pleasant history w/ japan.

[a li'l later] ok, speaking'f china n' japan, what do u think'f this new memoirs of a geisha movie?   when the book 1st came out, i didn't expekt much'f it, didn't think it was worth reading.   now, it's a big motion pikture, starring zhang ziyi n' michelle yeoh.   yah, certainly, the give the story much more credibility.   my initial instinkt is to assume the story's just 'nother exploiting exotifikation'f asian females, but i admit i'll most likely watch the movie cos'f the big name aktresses.   crazy, huh?   michelle yeoh n' zhang ziyi were both on the today show yesterday.   zhang ziyi was introduced as "zi zhang."   isn't that funny?   hrm, they should throw in jet li, tony leung, maggie cheung, n' jackie chan n' have all the big name chinese aktors, eh?   lemme think... who's that 1 hong kong singer/aktor?   hrm... i 4get his name, but he's a middle.aged man that still plays teenager.type roles; and that faceanalyzer.com site names him as being the celebrity that matches my profile. *sigh* i 4get his name.   it's not aaron kwok, rt?   i don't think so, it's some1 else.   uhm... there's also some famous hk aktor that committed suicide, rt?   since it wasn't tony leung, i guessed it was leslie cheung; n' a quick wikipedia search confirmed that.

[later] ¿ÀÈÄ: during my lunchbrk, i weightlifted n' did 10 mins'f precor in the gym.   after showering, i stopped by this company bbq fundraiser 4 2nd harvest fud bank.   it was pretty much over, n' they were cleaning things up.   4 $8.50, i got a hot dog, smothered in greasily grilled onions, 2 huge scoops'f potato salad, a bag'f ruffles, n' small slice'f carrot cake, n' a 500-ml bottle'f kirkland h2o.   the original menu was $8.50 4 a tri.tip steak sandwich, 1 side, n' a bottle'f h2o or a can'f soda.   however, they were running out'f stuff n' felt bad that they couldn't give me steak, so they gave me lots'f other stuff.   shoot, i was hungry; so, in my cubicle, i scarfed down the unhealthy fud.   i tried to remind myself to slow down n' relish each bite, but i also felt self.conscious as always 'bout eating in my cube, so i subconsciously rushed myself.

as i sed early, last nite i went to target.   i know i have this unhealthy obsession w/ target.   4 some reason, i think i can find most things i need 4 a de ent pri¢e there, but that's not true.   their stuff's gotten really expen$ive, as i've pted out b4.   the sunnyvale target is more often than others ransacked, as my bro.in.law steve n' my sista grace've pted out b4.   i mean, it's not that bad; but *shrug*.   why do i like target? *shrug again* well, there isn't a wal*mart near me, n' i know wal*mart had a bit'f a bad rep.   maybe i should $hop more @ big! lots instead.   (yah, apparently, the "!" in "big! lots" goes after the "big," not the "lots," as i had previously thought.)   2nite, kohl's is open till midnite, n' it opens 'gain @ 700a 2morrow.   i've never been to kohl's, but i'm thinkin'f hittin' it up 2nite.   (heh, that's proper slang, rt?   i'm not talkin' like that "i'd hit it!" mcyukyuk's cheeseburger commercial that the boondocks was mocking, rt?   i do understand that "i'd hit it" or else "i'd hit that" specifically refers to copulating the described objekt, which is more aptly some attraktive woman, not a sandwich.)

[later] is this apple aperture s'pposed to compete w/ adobe fotoshop?
