• malibu grand prix w/ cowerkers: drove 11 laps; my best time: 63.01 secs
• dinner w/ cowerkers @ jing jing szechuan n' huanan restaurant in stanfurd country: some'f my chinese cowerkers were so explicitly, openly unimpressed w/ this pretty amerikanised chinese restaurant.   however, i had read some decent comments 'bout it b4 in local newspapers, which just goes further to prove the dire, dire, dire need 4 more asian fud critiks, u know?   me, i thought the fud was ok, not great.   i've definitely had better; but i felt a li'l guilty 4 our group ending up there cos we were choosing btwn pasta pomodoro n' this restaurant, n' i mentioned, "oh, we go to pasta pomodoro all the time." ("we," referring to the beautiful kaela hwang n' i...)   also, i thought others sounded like they wanted chinese fud.   neway, yah... university ave in stanfurd country doesn't really have authentik chinese restaurants, so whadya gonna do, u know?
• we ate aisukuriimu @ haagen daz on uni ave.   i had a small strawberry.banana yogurt sorbet on a sugar cone.   kaela had espresso gelato on a sugar cone.

• had this rather painfully long apptmnt w/ a financial planner, who i thought could get us into normal mutal funds but then switched gears n' tried to sell us variable term universal life insurance.
• went to berkeley.   we picked up some j.box drive.thru on the way: i had 2 monster tacos, n' kaela had the southwest fajita pita.   aktually, we were s'pposed to have each other's orders, but kaela wanted to switch.
• we walked w/ sooni right into the asuc store, where kaela exchanged a t.shirt i bought her when i went to recruit @ the career fair.   the asuc store was fine w/ having sooni there.   we walked 'round campus. &nbps; then we went to sweetheart café to get some boba drinks.
• futura sed that, if we wanted to have sooni in the store, we'd hafta hold her.   i told them we'd shop somewhere else.
• we brought sooni right into joy's, n' they were kewl w/ it.   joy's is run by korean.amerikans, u know.
• we walked sooni right into some soap store on telly.
• we brought sooni to the ohlone doggy park in north berkeley
• we went to roland's place.
• we went to dinner @ barney's burger, where dogfriendly.com sed doggies r welcome.   the waiter sed it was kewl if we brought sooni onto the patio, n' we did.   after we had dinner w/ roland, betty, n' toby, as we were leaving, the manager or owner sed there'r no dogs 'llowed on the patio.   what a jerk!   i used to think barney's was kewl, but now that he sed that we should all boycott barney's n' give 'em plenty'f spite, hardship, n' grief!   that's just awful.
• when we got home, kaela n' i watched 2 episodes'f Ç® ÇϿ콺 / full house.
