<center>2004.12.05</center> <a name="gatheringfriends"><h3>gathering friends</h3></a> <p>일요일 오후 일찍 1228p: we went to church 2day. in case u don't know, we go to <a href="http://www.grx.org" target="_blank">the great exchange covenant church</a>, n' i highly recommend it! i recommend it 4 <i>u</i>. our speaker 2day was min tak, who's an attourney. he talked 'bout the 9th commandment in our 10 commandment series: thou shalt not bear false witness. we had a decent grp'f our friends @ church 2day, n' i felt good. i felt like i was 'round ppl i knew... i mean, we drove over as helen, rachel, the beautiful <a href="http://www.realestatesforcharity.com" target="_blank">kaela hwang</a>, n' me, n' we were s'pposed to meet w' duk kyung n' his longtime oregon friend sera (or sara? sarah? *shrug*), but just everywhere around us, we were able to say hi n' chat w/ ppl we knew. it felt good since there were times when we didn't know <i>ne1</i> 'round us. <u>however</u>, even when we didn't know ne1 'round us, we still really liked the church cos the pastors there give such good msgs/sermons n' the praise team puts on such a good worship session. it's awesome. recently, i ran into this gurl amy @ church w/ whom i 1nce counseled @ the taiwanese.amerikan youth leadership camp (ta. 4 a while now, kaela n' i've been in touch w/ this couple victor n' ilana, n' ilana's good friends w/ my ol' friend andy huang w/ whom i <i>went</i> to the taylc, <font color="blue">berkeley</font>, ivcf (intervarsity christian fellowship), n' christian layman church. i heard he's gonna be a pastor soon? *shrug* or <i>is</i> he a pastor (already)? 2day, we ran into dennis, mark's ol' hi skool friend, who bought a 4.plex w/ mark from kaela. it's really awesome to run into ppl like this @ church. it makes me happy in a way that helps fight the whole winter depression thingy that i wonder if i'm getting rt now or not. <p>last yr, did i get winter depression? i think i was simply much 2 bizzy w/ moving into our new house to think 'bout it. i 'member getting quite frustrated w/ all the $$$ i was putting down 4 new furniture etc. i thought it rained more last winter. y! weather sez it'll start raining in the bay area 2morrow n' thus snowing in tahoe. i hope so. dude, i'd love to go snowboarding next sat, but i think kaela might have sumpthin'. well, if she's just gonna study 4 her finals, then maybe i'll just find some friends to go w/ up to tahoe. *shrug* it's s'pposed to start raining 2morrow n' cosequentially get warmer. <p>[much later] 903p: i've gotta take out the trash. this afternoon, we went to the century 21 alpha holiday party, which was @ avalon niteclub in sunnyvale on lawrence @ homestead. of course this 100-400p party was nite in a niteclub atmosphere even tho' it was in the niteclub. rather, the boss brought his swing jazz band n' played while we had some sandwich platters, egg rolls, n' desserts. ppl swing danced. my mom was there. as much as she doesn't know, it's nice to c her. my sister's families nearby, but i don't get to c her. i was honestly disappointed that they couldn't come 4 <font color="orange">t.</font><font color="brown">giving</font>. i wish i could say we'll host 'nother family dinner get2gether in order to c them, but i've gotta admit that i don't have the energy to put that on n' wouldn't dream'f passing that load onto kaela, no way. well, i ended up spending most'f the day @ home. kaela n' rachel studied here, n' duk even hung out here w/ us. it was really kewl to have a coupl'f young ppl over. it reminded me'f college life, u know? 'member the hrs we spent hangin' @ jerome n' andy's? or the hrs that ppl spent @ our ol' 2520 hillegass ave. #218 apt? ah... heh, <i>those</i> were my college days, n' well... as much as i honestly don't wish to dwell on my past or wish i could relive them, i do cherish those memories. in fakt, i guess i wish i could go pic up those ol' foto albums out'f my mom's garage, huh? yah, someday, huh? <p>so what's up? plz sign my new <a href="http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~beno/gbook.html" target="_blank">gbook</a>. it'll only be up until sometime 'round new yr's cos'f the questions. in fakt, i might even need to take it down sometime 'round <font color="red">christ</font><font color="red">mas</font>, rt? neway, check it [out], n' i gotta take out the trash. hold on. [later] 921p: i'm back. i took out the trash, took out the recyclables, n' swept the leaves off the driveway into the street gutter, which isn't really a good thing. last wk or so there was some big truck that came by w/ a enormous vacuum cleaner on its back that sucked up all the leaves from the curbside. i don't think that things gonna come 2morrow. instead, it's gonna start raining, n' then my pile'f leaves is gonna dam up the gutter. that's bad. i hope i don't flood my driveway, but i just wanted to do <i>sumpthin' to get those leaves off my driveway. now, that's what <i>i</i> did. didju have a chance to sign my <a href="http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~beno/gbook.html" target="_blank">gbook</a>? <p>i hear <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=hFit*7DqwsE&offerid=64951.10000033&type=3&subid=0" >wal.mart</a><IMG border=0 width=1 height=1 src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=hFit*7DqwsE&bids=64951.10000033&type=3&subid=0" >'s evil. is that true? *shrug*<br><br><br>
