Miara (they/them) is a Korean/American writer, philosopher, and technologist exploring the intersections of computation, language, and the divine. Formerly active in the Seattle poetry scene (Kundiman, Hugo House, LitCrawl), they’ve since shifted toward fiction, currently writing God and Cola, a cyberpunk, black comedy webnovel. Their philosophical works include How to Solve Moral Conundrums with Computability Theory, Acceleration and Time, and The End of the World Has Already Happened—a collection of notes from a period of insanity. As CTO of a Korean startup, they are building a platform that uses large language models to translate and visualize webnovels, rethinking what it means to tell stories across languages and mediums.
