Maybe there is a cat in the other box, and maybe there isn't. Unless we open the box, how will we know?

Meh. I modified the riddle. The intended answer, though a bit silly, is - - - a cat.

And yes. That is me cat. He scratched me a thousand times but, I am not bitter, even though I look like Pinhead from Hellraiser. He is not cat from hell, being so cute, though he does have claws from hell.
