Title: The Box

I opened a box. What came out of it?

The instant you opened it?  In that case it was probably just [hide]some air[/hide].  Or, a Jack; depending on the type of box.

No. [hide]Why would air come out or in?[/hide] There can be only one answer. And one immortal. Is he God?

And that's $150,000 now.

That works for [hide]smoke, not air. The box wasn't pressurized or anything. Go get a valve for your chattering box.[/hide]

And that's $200,000 now.

You've already taken the money out - I left the money in the box. ;)

Fortunately it works for both, or we'd all suffocate in our houses.

If I weren't already suing dudiobugtron, I'd now sue you. Consider yourself lucky. Although what you said makes sense. However, since there is already plenty of air, why emphasize it as if you opened a window for fresh air rather than a stinky box? Air could be the answer to everything. After all, thanks to air we are alive. But that'd be quite boring and rather predictable, particularly to us riddlers.

Btw, whose to say that the air in the room or wherever didn't enter the box rather than vice-versa? Don't even think about talking about reciprocity and suggest that air exited and entered the box at the same time.

And yet, since you have not only brought rather emphasized the air topic, I offer the 2nd riddle. Here it is, numbnuts. Or is that me?

2. There is a room and an empty box inside it. What do the room and the box have in common?

Gotcha!
