I would say that's playing with words. You know, my first letter is in the word doughnuts, but not in the word pizza, etc. Am I right?
But I can't find the answer.

I agree, this is a bit vague. Generally, riddles of this type give clues to words in a sentence or expression. All I can come up with is "hole air something". You may be right about the letters, but the words are so different that there are quite a few possibilities.

Hint?
