Title: I live above a star
Post by BNC on Oct 23rd, 2003, 11:50pm
I live above a star, and yet I never burn,
I have eleven neighbors, and yet none of them turn,
I am visited in sequence, first, last or in between,
PRS (& sometimes Q)are my initials, now tell me what I mean.

Man these are getting easy, just calling them in now aren't you?

Ya BNC, I'll have to give you a call when I figure this one out.

I don't see how the initials PRS (and sometimes Q) function in mistysakura's line of thinking...

I don't even see mistysakura's line of thinking - or TimMann's idea of it. ???
At least I'm quite confident that I got the right context, thanks to Maryl's post.

The symbols !@#$%^&*() appear in a line on my computer keyboard, and above that is a line of 12 function keys. F7 is most directly above the "star" (asterisk). However, I don't usually visit F7 as part of a sequence, and it definitely has nothing to do with P[Q]RS. So it doesn't fit the riddle.

Aw, TM, you ought to get away from the keyboard for a while - call a friend - maybe that will clear up your mind ...  ;)

I know the intended answer. I was explaining why what I thought mistysakura was hinting at was the wrong answer, because wowbagger asked. Seems like I not only annoyed mistysakura, but I also convinced Lupin that I need to be given a put-down and another hint. Sigh.

Sudden inspiration. I was so excited I just had to call Jeri Ryan to tell her.

Misty was referring to a previous riddle that had been posted which was similiar to this one, just different equipment.

I thought !@#$%^&*() was just referring to censored expletives stressing the similarity of the riddle to another. Tim needs to read more comic books :)

No worries, I wasn't annoyed at you, more at myself for not getting anywhere near that line between way-too-confusing and explicit.
