Title: Re: No clue how to phrase title for this one... Post by Lupin on Aug 20th, 2003, 10:53am OK turtler, I’ve been starring at your puzzle for several minnows and can’t think of how to phrase it either. I asked my friend Gill, but he’s kinda hard of herring, so no luck. I’m gonna take some aspirins ... all this has given me a big haddock. ;) |

Title: Re: No clue how to phrase title for this one... Post by Speaker on Aug 21st, 2003, 1:42am I think I got the answer, but is that part about all in mail never clinking just a red herring. Maybe somebody could throw me a line. |

Title: Re: No clue how to phrase title for this one... Post by wowbagger on Aug 21st, 2003, 2:17am I'm not sure either about this "all in mail never clinking" bit. ??? As for a thread title: Think about using the beginning of the riddle itself (at least for the What-am-Is), like "Alive without breath". If you modify the title of the first post in a thread, it will also change the thread title. |

If I’m not mistaken, Gollum said, “clad in mail never clinking” =>[hide]mail (noun) flexible armor composed of small overlapping metal rings or loops of chain.[/hide] No, I did not do that on porpoise. Now don't be shellfish and admit you knew it. My sole intention was to clarify this point. |
