I have been writing a hobby web application where id like to have travel itineraries suggested based on previous itineraries that were selected by users.  I am wondering if there are any open source projects which might assist in accomplishing this?  Feel free to see the application here (http://www.travelmonks.com)

Can't you just start such a project yourself on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net)?
