In the store he places three different keys on the desk and asks him: “Which key out of the three opens the door to the store? You have the right to touch/use one of these keys only in order to try it out. If you answer correctly, the spare key is yours and also a raise. I’ll give you a bit of a hint too (or is it friendly banter?): By utilizing pure logic I am certain that you can arrive at the answer.” |

Which would mean either they both fit in the lock, but with only one allowing you to turn it, or the third key is the right one.
